The invention relates to a vibrator used in massaging treatments and more particularly to holder means for conveniently carrying the vibrator in operative position on the part of a persons torso, or the like, sought to be treated.

In locating the vibrator on the part to be treated it is sometimes convenient to support the vibrator in a' belt orcarrying band, which may be fastened about the user's body, or parts vthere-- 0!, with the vibrator thus held in operative position at the desired place.

The invention aims particularly to provide an improved, simple belt or band for this purpose, said band having means for ready and quick at- 1'5 tachment to headed studs mounted on the. vi-

brator body. The means mentioned is, of course, also quickly detachable from the vibrator.

Sometimes it is also desirable to hang the vibrator in a supported position from a wall book or the like, and the invention therefore also contemplates the provision of a simple bail device attachable to or removable from the vibrator as occasion requires. a

The main object oi the. invention is to provide improved holder means for a vibrator of the type I mentioned to facilitate, and make convenient,

' its use.

Another object is to provide a carrier band for'the vibrator including means for quickly attaching to and detaching same from the vibrator. Also it is an object to provide a bail device for hanging the vibrator when the belt is used in ,some conditions-oi service.

Other objects will become apparent to those skillied in this art as the disclosure is more fully ma e.

The vibrator to be illustrated is of thetype having a cylindrical body, carrying at one end a mounting for the vibration applicator. Said body rigidly carries on its outer surface a number of headed studs in spaced relation, whichserve as attaching buttons to receive the ends of the car- .rier band or belt by means of simple button holes formed in the band. Said band includes a buckle so that it may be secured around a person's body in a manner holding the vibration applicator in the desired spot to be treated. One 'end' of the vibrator body carries oppositely disposed sockets to receive detachably, the legs of a spring 'wire 0 bail so that when desired the vibrator may be suspended from a wall hook. v The' improved structure is shown in the accompanying sheet oidrawings, wherein:

The vibrator is of that class embodying a cylindrical body It provided with a boss ii at one end to carry a vibration applicator l2. Adjacent the applicator end of the body there are provided iour equidistantly spaced, rigid headed studs I3, all preferably lying in the same or substantially the same plane. 20

The carrier band comprises two relatively wide belt portions it formed of suitable material such as leather or fabric as desired, each portion hav-' ing an end formed with a pair oi'button holes ii to iit overta pair of the studs ll on-the vibrator. One opposite end of a belt portion carries a suitable buckle It cooperable with the opposite end of the other portion in an obvious manner to permit the belt or band to be strapped around a usersbody as shown in Figure 2 to hold the vibrator in operative position.

The other end of the vibrator is formed with diametrically opposed sockets H to receive the manner shown in Figures 1 and 3, whereby the vibrator may be hung from a wall hook I! when desired. By this means the user when he has the vibrator strapped on with the unit at his back may lean against the vibrator thereby creating pressure which sometimes is. desirable.

It can now be seen that an improved means has been provided for holding a vibrator oi the 'class described in operative position on the user with auxiliary cooperating means provided to hang the vibrator from. a wall hook. This holding means, of course, is simple and effective and achieves the desirable objects heretoiore recited. It is theintention to cover all changes and modifications of the example of the improved structure shown for purposes of the disclosure which do not in material respects constitute departures from the spirit and scope of the-invention as hereinafter claimed. i

What is claimed is:

i.-.In a vibrator oi'the class havinl an clon gated body including a cylindrical end portion carrying two pairs of radial studs in spaced relation, the combination with the studs of a pair of relatively wide bands having complementarily paired cooperative means at one end respectively ,for securement to the respective pairs of studs whereby to hold the said band ends in an axial direction relative to the axis of the vibrator body and respectively in wrapping engagement with said body, the other ends of said bands including a separable fastener whereby the band may be secured around a user's torso in a manner to hold the vibrator body with its axis normal to the user's torso.

2. In a vibrator of the class described having an elongated body including a cylindrical end portion carrying two pairs of radial studs in spaced relation and all lying in substantially a common plane cutting through said body, the combination withthe studs of a pair of relatively wide bands having complementarily spaced pairs of holes formed respectively in adjacent band ends for securement of an end of each band to each pair of studs in a manner to hold the said attaching ends of the bands in an axial direction relative to the vibrator body and closely in wrapping engagement with said body, and the other ends of said bands including separable fastener means to secure said other ends together.
