To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that we, NATHAN ROGGEN and TOBA EISENSTEIN, both of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and Improved Shirt, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.

Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, formingpart of this specification, in

i which similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in all the figures.

Figure 1 is a front elevation of a shirt made in accordance with our invention. Fig. 2 shows a part of the back of the shirt, and Fig. 3 shows the shape of one of the yoke-pieces.

The invention will first be described in connection with the drawings, and then pointed out in the claim.

The body A, sleeves B B, bosom O, and neckband D of the shirt may be of the usual or of any approved form, except that the placketpieces I) of the sleeves B are extended to form the button-pieces or tabs 7), which are adapted to be secured to the buttons to, for holding the wrist-piece of the shirt-sleeves above the wrists of the wearer.

E E represent the yokes of the shirt. These are each cut in the form shown in Fig. 3, with an extension, (1, to extend over the shoulderseam down onto the sleeve B to re-enforce the shoulder and upper part of the sleeves of the shirt. The yokes extend froin the back placket- I F, of the shirt along the neck-piece D, thence directly over the shoulder-seams, and they are each formed with side points, f f, which follow down the shoulderseams g 9, front and back, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, to strengthen and re-enforce the shirt at the shoulder and pre-.
