SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 323,210, dated July 28, 1885.
Application filed January 21, 1885.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that 1, WILLIAM 0. ROGERS, of' the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and Improved Advertising Medium, of which the followingis a full, clear, and exact description.
The object of my invention is to provide a new and improved combined advertising medium and clock.
The invention consists in the combination, with a plaque having advertisements produced on its face, of a clock held inthe middle of'the plaque.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, in which similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in both figures.
Figure 1 is a face view of my improved advertising medium, and Fig. 2 is a rear-view of the same.
The plaque A,made of wood, papier-mach, glass, china, majolica, metal, .or any other suitable material, and which may be made flat, convex, or concave, is provided with a central aperture, B, in which a clock-dial is held, the clock-casing D being on the back of the plaque. On the plaque advertisements are produced which surround the dial.

The casing D is provided with a ring, E, for holding it, and on the casing a wire, F, is 0 held, which forms two legs, G, on the back of the casing.
