' FACIAL PROTECTION-FOR IIAIR SPRAY SUMMARY OFTHE INVENTION In my invention I employ a face mask molded in one piece which is adapted to fit removably over the face ofithe user and which includes a chin receiving portion. Means secured to the chin-receiving portion can be controlled by the user to hold the mask in position while the spray is applied to the, hair. This means can be a handle organ be tabs forming part, of the mask and adapted to be held in the mouth of the user.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE oRAwlNos In the drawings:
FIG. I is a front view of one form of my invention;
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the form of FIG. 1 in use;
FIG. 3 is a view taken along line 33 in FIG. 1;
FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of a modification of my invention; and
FIG. 5 is a detail view of eye protector means which can be used in my invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS other operating hair spray I8.
I As shown in FIG. 5, each eye opening can be disposed in a protective bulge or pouch 20 with an outwardly and upwardly extending protective lid 21 above the opening 12 that willsubstantially prevent spray from entering the opening when the spray is held above the level of the eyes in the usual way for application to the hair as shown in FIG. 2.
As shown in FIG. 4, the handle can be removed and tabs 22 can extend away from the inner surface of the mask, these tabs being disposed in the chin portion adjacent the mouth. When the tabs are held inthe mouth, the mask is held in place.
While I have described my invention with particular reference to the drawings, my protection is to be limited only by the terms of the claims which follow: 1
