As will hereinafter be described, ring 41 may be carriedon sleeve 39 whereby'said sleeve may be adjustably positioned within bore 37 to accommodate bell portion 13 of any height. Elongated valve 42 terminates downwardly in integrally formed anddiverging conical section 43; longitudinally extending tube 44 of metallic composition, adapted to insert into opening 16, is fixedly secured in valve 42. with the lower end thereof extending substantially downwardly of the lower edge of conical section 43. Spring 45, carried on valve 42, bears against the upper end of sleeve 39 and the lower end of collar 46 integrally formed in the approximate medial portion of said valve, respectively. Upwardly of collar 46, generally cylindrical section 47 of said valve is adapted to pass through opening 38.
As best'seen in FIG. 6 of the drawings, a plurality of longitudinally spaced teeth 48 are provided in section 47 intermediate lugs 28-29, said teeth are adapted to be engaged by teeth 35 on lever 31. The upper end of valve 42 is threaded and preferably beveled, indicated by reference numerals 49-50, respectively. One end of an elongated tube 51 of plastic composition is press fitted over bevel 50 and fixedlysecured thereto by means of nut 52 adjusted to bear against the outer surface thereof. The lower end of tube 44 is desirably provided with a diagonally and upwardly extending vent or recess 53; bore 54 of tube 44 communicates with bore 55 of corresponding diameter in said valve downwardly of collar 46 with coaxial bore 56 of greater diameter communicating therewith and surfacing in the top of said valve.
Referring now to FIGS. 1-4 of the drawings, there is shown a finger actuated dispenser 57'detachably secured to the remote end of elongated tube 51. More specifically, dispenser 57 includes a generally cylindrical forward section 58 which terminates rearwardly in male threads 59; rearwardly converging base 60 includes a longitudinally extending recess 61 in the foremost end thereof and female threads 62 adapted to engage threads 59. Valve 63 is adjustably mounted in longitudinally extending bore 64 in forward section 58.
Forwardly, bore 64 includes converging conical shoulder 65, communicating bore 66 of reduced diameter, converging shoulder 67, converging conical seat 68 paralleling shoulder 67 and rearwardly thereof, and axial bore 69 of still further reduced diameter. Valve 63 includes integrally formed, diverging conical section 70 the circumferential edge of which is adapted to expand against bore 64 in a tight fit when liquid under pressure is introduced into the said bore in a manner hereinafter to be described. Forwardly thereof, valve 63 includes a reduced diametral cylindrical section 71, and a still further reduced diametral cylindrical section 72 which terminates fowardly in converging conical face 73 adapted to bear against seat 68.
