Claims (4)
1. A forced lubricating and cooling device for a pressure sealing apparatus comprising a pair of sealing rolls rotating in contact with one another, a sealing end plate pressed in contact with the end faces of said sealing rolls, means for introducing a liquid lubricant in a quantity sufficient for cooling between the end faces of said sealing rolls and the surface of said sealing end plate contacting the end faces, and means for blowing a pressure gas against the end portions of said sealing rolls for pushing the liquid lubricant so that the lubricant does not contact the cloth which passes between said sealing rolls.
2. A forced lubricating and cooling device for a pressure sealing apparatus comprising a pair of sealing rolls rotating in contact with one another, a sealing end plate pressed in contact with the end faces of said sealing rolls, a groove having a concave shape formed in the surface of said sealing end plate in contact with said sealing rolls, and means for introducing a liquid lubricant by force into said groove.
3. A forced lubricating and cooling device for a pressure sealing apparatus comprising a seal drum forming a pressure chamber and having an opening for guiding cloth in and out of the pressure chamber, a pair of rolls in contact with said sealing drum on the opposite sides of the opening for the cloth, and groove of U-shaped configuration formed in the surface of said seal drum which contact said rolls, and means for introducing a liquid lubricant under force into said groove.
4. A pressure sealing apparatus of a roll type, comprising sealing rolls formed of different kinds of material and including first sealing rolls formed of a soft coated roll and second sealing rolls formed of a metallic surface roll, a sealing plate pressed in contact with the end faces of said sealing rolls, said soft coated rolls having a metal core and said metal core having an axially extending bore therethrough, and means for passing a heated liquid through the bore in said metal core for making the completion time for sealing shorter.
