Be it known that we, IRAM C. REED and CHARLES OONGDON, of Syracuse, in the county of Onondaga, in the State of New York,have invented new and useful Improvements in Coupons, of which the following, taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, is a full, clear, and exact description.

Our invention relates to coupons as a new article of manufacture and are adapted to be used in selling and delivering milk or other liquids.

Our object is to produce as a new article of manufacture a book of coupons upon a stub for which the vendor may keep account with the customers, and also aset of coupons which may be of great convenience to the customer, tearing olf each unit-coupon as it is used.

Our invention consists in the novel features of construction hereinafter described, and specifically set forth in the claims hereunto annexed. It is constructed as follows, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in Which- Figure l is an isometrical View of a book of coupons complete. Fig. 2 is a plan View of the stub and coupon detached from each other. Fig. 3 is a plan View of the unitcoupon detached'.Y Fig. 4t is a plan view of a fractional part of a unit-coupon detached.

A is a book or pad of a set of coupons and its accompanying stub complete, bound or secured together in any ordinary manner.

B is the stub, and C is a sheet of coupons detachably connected to the stub, preferably by perforations, as shown.

It will be seen that the vendor may keep his accounts with his customers upon the stub, and that the customers may retain the sheet of coupons intact, tearing olf a unitcoupon or a fraction thereof, as desired. It will also be observed that these unit-coupons may be numbered consecutively, thus showing the vendor and customer the quantity of milk or liquid had at any time desired.

What we claim as ourinvention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

Asa new article of manufacture, a milkcoupon book consisting of a stub for each leaf of coupons, having blank spaces thereon, upon which account may be kept with the customers, and a sheet of coupons attached to each stub, divided into unit-compartments and each unit subdivided and the Whole detachably secured together by perforations, as set forth.
