TUG-CLIP FOR HAMES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 489,989, dated January 17, 1893.
Application filed June 11, 1392.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JAMEs SCOTT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Bethany, in the county of San Joaquin and State of California,have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Tug-Clips for Hames; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
The special object of the invention is to make a tug-clip for hames so that, by loosening a screw, the clip may be adjusted up and down on the hame to suit the height or shoulder of any horse or mule.

In the drawings, A represents the body of the clip which is provided with the parallel cars a a connected bya bolt B whose threaded end works in a corresponding interior thread of the car a so that the said bolt may be easily removed and allow the tug strap to be detached.
