I construct the frame-work of the machine of wood, iron, or other metal, as in the drawing, (marked B,) a band 'runningover the driving'wheel of the machine and running around a pulley at the end of the arm'of the machihe,(marked 0,) and attached to the arm of the machine is a spiral spring, of iron, steel, copper, or-other metal most suitable for the urposeQ (Marked D.)' r
Attached to the spiral spring are the shears. (Marked E.) Attached to't'he other end of the arm is another spiralspring, which supports the arm of the machine, thereby giving a flexible motion to it. U a Spiral spring marked 1) has a rotary flexible motion.
The shears, (marked G6,) when attached to the machine 'by the spiral spring,.hasa horizontal motion, by means of which the wool is outwith great facility-and power.
What-I claim as my invention is.
; The combination and construction of the] machine and shears and the application of the power necessary to shear wool from sheep, and. which will produce the intended eifect.
