The embodiments of the claimed Financial Transaction Card as illustrated herein show wood grain shading on the front and rear surfaces thereof, which may be actual wood grain or simulated wood grain (e.g., created via printing and/or another suitable technique). The Financial Transaction Card is useful as a gift card, credit card, telephone card, debit card or other card adapted for access to an account or record tracking a value thereof and optionally includes a bar code (as illustrated in broken lines in FIG. 3), magnetic strip, RFID device, computer chip, electronic device or other element for accessing the account or record.
