Description

The invention relates to a construction which can also be used by people with reduced eyesight or from blind-blind patients for self-injection, primarily for the exact dosage of insulin.
As is well known, diabetes is the widespread disease of our day, and the number of people suffering from it is sadly growing all over the world. Around 300,000 diabetic patients are registered in Hungary alone. A very precisely metered, injected amount of insulin is necessary to maintain the life of approximately every 6-7th diabetic. With a significant antail of the patient there is a decrease in vision, possibly blindness as the patient progresses eats up. The majority of insulin-dependent patients who have villes eyesight give themselves the syringe, on the one hand to make themselves independent of the medical personnel, and on the other hand to relieve the sanitary facilities. The regular injection in many cases - since every sting is also associated with a psychological visit - results in such a psychological inhibition that makes regular dosing of the insulin difficult. That is why the Swedish HELINOS automatic syringe has become very popular with patients in recent years. The essence of the puncture of this syringe is that the traditional glass syringe is accommodated in a shooting device that works with spring force. When loaded against the surface of the body, the loaded, pulled-up device penetrates under the skin at the push of a button and the patient can inject the medication by pushing in the plunger without having to suffer from the trauma to himself. The disadvantage of this syringe is that it is a very expensive import, and that it works with a traditional glass syringe that is difficult to handle and sterilize. Another factor is the fact that the facility can only be used by diabetic patients with a healthy sense of sight.
Tibor PELVAY, Budapest mechanic for sanitary instruments, designed a device that is completely identical in its puncture to the HELINOS syringe, but works with a used plastic syringe, to correct some of the above machined parts. This instrument is cheaper than the one made in Sweden, its handling and cleaning is easier. Furthermore, the problem remained that the syringe can only be used by those patients who can see well and are able to dose precisely because of their age, their physical and mental condition.
The object of the invention was to construct such an automatic syringe which is cheap, which works with a plastic syringe once used and which is also suitable for the treatment of people with reduced eyesight or of blind patients.
The realization that the problem has been solved has been recognized by the fact that even patients with reduced eyesight can use such an automatic syringe with great certainty, in which a device is attached to the injection carrier that limits the displacement of the injection plunger.
The task was thus solved in such a way that a self-injection device with a metering device for the medical syringes used once was constructed, which consists of a syringe barrel, spray carrier and such a shooting device which secures the relative displacement between the syringe barrel and the spray carrier and actuates it with spring force becomes.
It is characteristic of the design that the front part of the syringe housing is provided with an attachment which holds the ampoule and the spray carrier is assembled with a metering device which limits the displacement of the plunger of the syringe. The dosing device consists of a threaded sleeve rigidly coupled to the syringe carrier, of a threaded shaft rotating in the sleeve, of an asymmetrical push plate rigidly coupled at the end of the shaft and of a spring-loaded counter which holds the Rotation of the shaft with a click tone indicates.
Such an embodiment is also expedient, the thread pitch of the spring-loaded counter, that is to say the threaded shaft, being equal to two units of the insulin volume of the corresponding syringe plunger displacement per rotation.
Furthermore, the invention is presented in more detail with the aid of an advantageous embodiment with reference to a drawing. Fig. 1 shows the side view, Fig. 2 the top view of the construction of the invention. In Fig. 2, the well-known, mass-produced, once used medical syringe is also drawn with a narrow line, and the framed insulin bottle is also drawn with a broken line in the construction of the invention.
In Fig. 1 ist das Spritzenhaus 1 gut sichtbar, in dem der Spritzträger 2 sich so verrücken kann, damit die mit Federkraft betätigte Einschiesseinrichtung 3 bei der relativen Verrückung des Spritzenhauses 1 und des Spritzträgers 2 aufgezogen wird, die sich dann mit dem Knopf 10 an der Seite des GehäusesIn Fig. 1 the syringe house 1 is clearly visible, in which the spray carrier 2 can move so that the spring-actuated firing device 3 is pulled up during the relative displacement of the syringe house 1 and the spray carrier 2, which then turns on with the button 10 the side of the case
Der Spritzträger1 can be triggered. The housing 1 is expediently cut from a sheet metal and bent and provided on its front part with a projection 5 which holds the ampoule or the bottle. The spray carrier
Durch die Miederdrückung des Spritzkolbens gelangt die Medikamentdosis in den Organismus des Patienten.2, which was also bent from sheet metal, is rigidly coupled to the metering device 4, which limits the displacement of the injection plunger. The metering device 4 consists of a threaded sleeve 6 rigidly coupled to the spray carrier 2, of a threaded shaft 7 rotating in the sleeve, of an asymmetrical impact plate 8 rigidly coupled at the end of the shaft and of a spring-loaded counter 9 which indicates the rotation of the shaft 7. The construction of the invention works as follows: the injection needle is to be attached to the plastic syringe once it has been used (this is important because of the sterility). Then the assembled syringe is to be injected into the injection carrier 2. The threaded shaft of the metering device 4 is to be adjusted according to the amount of insulin to be injected by a corresponding number of rotations. The twists are displayed with the help of click tones and they can also be felt by palpation. Now the sterile protective cover of the thread should be removed. After pulling in the firing device 3, which is actuated by spring force, the insulin bottle is to be pushed into the neck 5 of the syringe barrel 1. Now the Madel penetrates through the cap of the bottle and the insulin can be sucked in. The plunger of the syringe can only be moved up to the asymmetrical thrust plate 8 on the shaft 8 of the dosing device, which ensures that an exact amount of medication is sucked in. In the interest of the safety of air evacuation, the suction must be repeated. After the bottle is removed, the construction of the invention should be based on the surface of the body so that the receiving attachment 5 touches the surface of the skin. When the trigger button 10 is actuated in the vertical position of the instrument, the spring-loaded shooting device 3 advances the spray carrier so that the maid penetrates into the body tissue through the epidermis. By depressing the syringe plunger, the drug dose gets into the patient's organism.
The advantages of the construction of the invention can be summarized as follows: the instrument can also be used by people with reduced eyesight and are used with great certainty by blind patients. The poorly sighted user, whose movement is also uncertain and less coordinated, cannot violate the rules of sterility when using the instrument, since the syringe can be installed in the instrument so that the protective cover remains on the madel, or the housing is has been constructed so that the bottle of the drug is also kept stable and since the Madel and the drug bottle meet each other under sterile conditions. The dosage of the medication and the emptying of the air can also be carried out blindly. In this way, the construction of the invention not only means a remedy for people with reduced eyesight, but also favors rehabilitation, since the patient can use this instrument to remove himself from the sanitary facility, or independent of the sanitary personnel, can move freely. The instrument can be mass-produced cheaply because of its simple construction.
