Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for facing a wall structure comprising elements (1) arranged on each other and adjacent each other, as well as fastening sections (3) arranged between elements (1) arranged on each other. The fastening sections (3) show a branch (3a, 3b) to be placed in grooves (2) provided in the elements and a branch (3c) to be fastened to the wall structure (7). To simplify and speed up the mounting of the facing, the branch (3c) of the fastening sections (3) to be fastened to the wall structure (7) is at its end bent to incline in the opposite direction to the supporting direction of the elements (1), whereby this inclined end of the branch (3c) can be arranged in a groove (5) provided in the wall structure (7) and being parallel with the end of the branch to form a rigid fastening.

1 Device for facing a wall structure
The invention relates to a device for facing a wall structure comprising elements arranged on each other and adjacent each other as well as fastening sections arranged between elements lying on each other, whereby the fastening sections show a branch part to be placed in grooves provided in the elements and a branch part to be fastened to the wall struc- ture.
According to previously known solutions, the facing is generally formed of single elements to be fastened separately or of ready-assembled element units. The fastening of single elements is both time- consuming and work intensive. Furthermore, the surface provided is often of poor quality and untidy, which depends on an uneven fastening of the elements. Ac¬ cording to the latter alternative again, the element units shall be planned in advance. The element units often become quite heavy, which makes it difficult to transport and fasten them.
The object of this invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks and to provide a device usable for facing, which device is easily and quickly mounted and which device can be easily adjusted for instance to openings, like doors and windows, of the wall structure or to other details. This object is achieved by means of a device according to the inven¬ tion, characterized in that the branch part of the fastening sections to be fastened to the wall struc¬ ture is at its end bent to incline in the opposite di¬ rection to the supporting direction of the elements, whereby this inclined end of the branch part can be arranged in a groove provided in the wall structure and being parallel with the end of the branch part. The device according to the invention is based on the idea that the facing can mainly be carried out with two components only: the elements used for the facing and fastening sections to be used for suspen- sion of these elements. It is thus possible to provide easily, without any special preparations, a uniform facing for the building object.
The invention is described in more detail in the following with reference to the enclosed drawing showing a schematic side view of a preferable embodi¬ ment of the device usable for facing.
The device shown in the drawing comprises fac¬ ing elements 1 for instance in the form of bricks or plates suspended to be supported by fastening sections 3. Grooves 2 corresponding to the branches 3a, 3b of the fastening sections are formed in the elements. The distance between the bottoms of the grooves is smaller than the distance between the opposite branches 3a, 3b of two opposite fastening sections 3 in order to per- mit an easy mounting of the elements 1 in place. To facilitate the mounting, a rising or a beading can be formed at the end of the branches mentioned. The end of the branch 3c of the fastening section 3 facing to¬ wards the wall structure 7 is bent downwards with re- spect to the supporting direction of the elements 1 and flush-mounted in a parallel groove 5 formed in up¬ right beams, ribs or metal sections 4 fastened to the wall structure 7. Consequently, the dead weight of the elements keeps the fastening sections and so the whole facing in place without a specific screw fastening or the like. For securing the fastening, the end of the branch 3a can be provided with a toothing shown in the drawing, or the like. Further, the upper edge of the facing can be locked in place in a manner known per se for instance by means of screw fastening. If desired, the joints between the elements can be filled with putty or joint strip, which is apt to stabilize the facing, moreover. Because the fastening sections are of metal, for instance aluminium, the elements and the jointing do not adhere to the fastening sections, whereby a certain clearance appears between them, which is advantageous with respect to possible changes of temperature.
The drawing and the accompanying specification are only intended to visualize the idea of the inven¬ tion. Besides for facing wall structures, the device of the invention can be used for instance for facing fences, balconies or the like. As to details, the de¬ vice of the invention can vary within the scope of the claims.

Claims

Claims :
1. A device for facing a wall structure com¬ prising elements (1) arranged on each other and ad- jacent each other as well as fastening sections (3) arranged between elements (1) lying on each other, whereby the fastening sections (3) show a branch part (3a, 3b) to be placed in grooves (2) provided in the elements and a branch part (3a) to be fastened to the wall structure (7), c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the branch part (3c) of the fastening sections (3) to be fastened to the wall structure (7) is at its end bent to incline in the opposite direction to the supporting direction of the elements (1), whereby this inclined end of the branch part (3c) can be arranged in a groove (5) provided in the wall structure (7) and being parallel with the end of the branch part.
2. Device according to claim 1, c h a r a c ¬ t e r i z e d in that the inclined end of the branch part (3c) of the fastening section (3) to be fastened to the wall structure (7) is provided with a toothing to secure the fastening.
