Abstract

The vibration generator described comprises a body (3) made at least partially from a magnetisable material and able to move along at least one guide element (6) such that its centre of gravity (O') can move along a curved path about a central axis of rotation (O), and electromagnetic means for generating a rotating magnetic field capable of driving the said body (3) along the guide elements (6). This structure eliminates all mechanical transmission and also reduces friction to a minimum.
