Abstract

Licence plate lighting device removably secured to a towed vehicle, characterized by the following elements: a) a transmitter (1) powered by the towing vehicle's battery (2) and connected to the various lighting connections of said vehicle, possibly by means of an existing towing attachment, b) a removable plate (3) bearing on one of its faces (4) the number of the towing vehicle, two small lights (5, 6) serving to illuminate said number, two laterally located indicator lights (7) and (8) and a brake light (9), c) a receiver (11) fitted onto the other face (10) of the plate (3) receives data from the transmitter (1) and controls switching of the light on and off, d) a battery (12) also secured to the face (10) of the plate for powering the lamp/receiver unit.
