Abstract

A food composition containing specified quantities of medically important nutrients formulated to maintain or improve the nutritional status of a human patient who is being treated with hemodialysis or who has been infected with the HIV virus. This composition can be administered either as a supplement to or as a substitute for a patient's dietary intake.
