Description

DISPOSITIF TEL QUE LUNETTES PRESENTANT DES MOTIFS IMPRIMES. DEVICE SUCH AS GLASSES HAVING PRINTED PATTERNS.
The present invention relates to a device such as glasses, a mask, a hood etc ..., intended to be placed on the head of a person and comprising at least one region of passage of light intended to be placed in face of the eyes of said person, and comprising an internal face directed towards the eyes of said person and an external face opposite to said internal face.
In the devices of the prior art, it is known to have patterns printed on the frame of the glasses, avoiding of course raw such patterns are not arranged in said regions of passage of light. Indeed, the presence of such patterns could only hinder the view.
It is however desirable to be able to have in the region or regions of the passage of light printed patterns which can be seen from the outside, but which is not visible to the person wearing the glasses.
The present invention relates to a device for solving the aforementioned problem.
The device according to the invention is for this purpose characterized in that said region for the passage of light consists of a network of two-dimensional wires having openings for passage of light and in that it comprises, on at least a part of the external face of at least some of the wires, a printing layer of a pattern, this printing layer not extending beyond the outline of the wires.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the printing layer has lateral edges substantially aligned with the lateral edges of said wires.
According to a first embodiment, the network of yarn is a woven or knitted network. According to a preferred embodiment, the network of wires is a molded network, the wires of which are coplanar. Optimal coverage of the external surface of the wires is thus obtained by the pattern or patterns.
According to a variant, the device is characterized in that it constitutes a pair of glasses, said light passage regions being glued to at least one support element, and according to a preferred mode being laminated between two support elements , one external, the other internal being part of a frame.
It can be characterized in that said support element, for example said external element, of the frame comprises at least one pattern extending a pattern of at least one region of passage of light.
It can be characterized in that it comprises at least a first separating network disposed on the external face of the light passage regions and optically separating at least two patterns from the light passage region. It can then also include a second separating network identical to the first, arranged on the internal face of the regions of passage of light.
According to a particular application in the military field, the device (glasses, mask, hood, etc.) the device can constitute a camouflage element, at least one said pattern being a camouflage pattern.

And Figures 9a, 9b and 10, a frame for example of glasses or mask, having patterns arranged overlapping both on the frame and on the two-dimensional network, respectively with correct and incorrect alignment (according to axes Ox and Oy and angularly). According to Figures la and lb, a device such as glasses, a mask, a hood etc ..., intended to be positioned on the head of a person, has a region for the passage of light, formed by a network 1 two-dimensional, which has openings 7, which allows a partial passage of light, with a directional effect due to the thickness e of the network. The network has intersecting round wires with alternating steps, namely 11 and 12 in a first direction (vertical in FIG. la) and 14 and 15 in a second direction. This mesh network defines square openings 7 for the passage of light. On this network 1 (or lattice) is printed for example by serigraphy a pattern from localized zones 21 and 22 printed on the upper parts of the wires, on the outside side of the network 1, opposite to the inside side which faces the eyes of the person wearing the device.
The wearer's eye (see Figure 4) receives only direct light, the radiation which is not perpendicular to the grid being absorbed in the case where the wires are absorbent. This protects the wearer of the glasses from the sun's rays if he is not facing.
Les critères de définition du réseau (treillis) sont les suivants :Printing is carried out only on the external part of the wires, and without lateral overhang relative to the contour of the wires. In this way, the shape of the openings 7 is not affected. The printed pattern can be seen with good sharpness from the outside while the wearer of the device (for example glasses) will not see the printed pattern at all. The criteria for defining the network (trellis) are as follows:
- section des fils composant la maille- section of the wires making up the mesh
- couleur des fils composant la maille- color of the threads composing the mesh
- nombre de fils/cm- number of threads / cm
- la possibilité qu'ont les fils de transmettre ou non la lumière (translucidité)- the possibility that the wires have of transmitting light or not (translucency)
- la forme de la section des fils- the shape of the wire section
- la matière composant les fils- the material composing the threads
L'utilisation d'un réseau couvrant l'espace visuel peut permettre soit :The quality of sight is determined by the relationship between the type of radiation and the amount of radiation absorbed by the eye. The use of a network covering the visual space can allow either:
- d'arrêter une partie du rayonnement- to stop part of the radiation
- de dévier une autre partie du rayonnement et laisser passer le reste - de modifier une partie du spectre.- to deflect another part of the radiation and let the rest pass - to modify part of the spectrum.
From the above elements and according to the desired effects, we can then determine the following parameters and establish the relationships between:
1) la quantité de translucidité des fils utilisés (% pénétration de la lumière)1) the amount of translucency of the wires used (% light penetration)
2) la (les) couleur(s) (quantité de réflexion en absorption de la lumière)2) the color (s) (amount of reflection in light absorption)
3) les formes de la section qui déterminent les angles 4) la relation entre la densité de fils au cm et leur dimensionnement.3) the shapes of the section which determine the angles 4) the relationship between the density of wires per cm and their dimensioning.
Ce système permet, en jouant surThis system allows, by playing on
1) la couleur du fil de la grille1) the color of the grid wire
2) la section du fil de la grille (en matière de forme), multi ou mono filament(s)2) the wire section of the grid (in terms of shape), multi or mono filament (s)
3) la translucidité du fil de la grille3) the translucency of the grid wire
4) les dimensions de la section du fil de la grille4) the dimensions of the wire section of the grid
5) ) la densité du fil de la grille (nombre de fils au cm)5)) the density of the grid wire (number of wires per cm)
6) l'impression6) printing
7) les types d'encre d'impression7) types of printing ink
8) les modes de conception de la grille, d'obtenir toute une série d'effets, aussi bien du côté du porteur du dispositif que de son vis-à-vis.8) the design modes of the grid, to obtain a whole series of effects, both on the side of the wearer of the device and on the opposite side.
The addition of a distorting prism can make it possible to multiply these possibilities by the same amount.
L'ensemble assemblé est représenté à la figure 7.A message printed on the network is clearly seen by an external observer with a good compromise between printed surface and coefficient of reflection linked to the surfaces of the print and the quality of the ink. FIG. 2a shows a method of mounting the network in a mount. Two support layers 20 and 26 sandwich the network, and are assembled by a layer of adhesive 23. The reference 29 designates a filter film (optional). The layers 20 and 26 are covered with a coating (24, 27). Deforming prisms 25 and / or 28 can also be added by gluing. These prisms can be different from each other to allow optical effects, for example as in 25 ', 28' in Figure 2b. The assembled assembly is shown in Figure 7.
The deforming prism or prisms function as a separating network. One can use for this purpose pyramidal prisms, cylindrical lenticular networks or even balls arranged in network in two directions.
According to FIGS. 3a, 3b and 4, the region of passage of the light is constituted by a molded screen having a network of wires 30 of oblong section, the internal face 32 of which is for example flat and the external face 33, coated with a print 31, produced for example by screen printing is rounded.
This printing is carried out so as to fit into the outline of the wire 30, in practically overflowing thereof, so as to obtain an optimal recovery rate.
According to FIG. 4, the printing 31 has a flat upper face and two substantially flat lateral faces 41, the tangent plane of which is in the contour of the wires 30, here shown with a circular section.
Figures 5a, 5b, and 5c illustrate different cases corresponding to different application pressures when printing by screen printing. Figure 5a corresponds to a too low pressure during printing. The imprint obtained 21, 22, 31 is small; the ink does not stick well to the thread (12, 30) and poor coverage of the surface is obtained.
Figure 5b corresponds to a well controlled printing, with an optimal application pressure during screen printing. The bonding is optimal, the width of the imprint is maximum (without overflow), the printing being limited by the faces 41, and the ink thickness is optimal. In addition, there is no closure of the openings 7 of the mesh, which allows optimal vision, that is to say that the wearer of the device sees in the same way as if there were no impression, and does not see the impression, that only an outside observer perceives.
La figure 5c correspond au cas d'une pression trop forte lors de l'impression.FIG. 5c corresponds to the case of too strong pressure during printing.
The printing point is flattened and has an enlarged external face 42, the edges 43 of which extend beyond the perimeter of the wire (12, 30) and are connected to the wire from regions 44 parallel to the external face 42 of the print. The top of the wire is covered by an ink thickness that is too small, resulting in poor coverage of the surface of the wire and poor adhesion of the ink.
The impression overflows into the openings 7 of the mesh, hence a closure of the visual surface. The wearer of the device can also perceive (in negative) the printed pattern which is contrary to the desired goal.
Figures 6a and 6b show a device according to the invention in which the patterns 4 and 6 are correctly aligned astride the network 1 and the frame 2. In Figure 6a, printing took place before mounting. FIG. 6b represents the unfavorable case of printing after mounting, which leaves a region 8 with little or no printing.
