Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Empfänger (100) für ein Rundfunksignal, insbesondere ein Autoradio, sowie ein Verfahren zum Empfang eines Rundfunksignals. Hierbei ist ein Signaldekoder (12) vorgesehen, welcher ein in dem Rundfunksignal verschlüsselt enthaltenes Audiosignal und/oder ein in dem Rundfunksignal verschlüsselt enthaltenes Datensignal entschlüsselt, wobei der Signaldekoder (12) derart ausgebildet ist, dass eine Entschlüsselung des verschlüsselten Signals lediglich dann erfolgt, wenn der Signaldekoder (12) ein über einen von einem Übertragungsweg des Rundfunksignals verschiedenen, externen Übertragungsweg empfangenes, externes Authentisierungssignal erhält.
