Abstract

Bei dem Verfahren und der Anordnung zum Bearbeiten eines Datenstroms mit Datenpaketen eines ersten Datenstroms und Datenpaketen eines zweiten Datenstroms, welche Datenpakete jeweils ein Fehlererkennungsfeld aufweisen, wird der Gesamtdatenstrom von einer ersten Schicht empfangen. In der ersten Schicht wird der empfangene Gesamtdatenstrom derart bearbeitet, daß unter Verwendung jeweils eines Fehlererkennungsfeldes eines Datenpakets eine Fehlererkennung für das Datenpaket durchgeführt wird. Von der ersten Schicht wird eine Information über ein Fehlererkennungsfeld eines Datenpakets des bearbeiteten Gesamtdatenstroms und zumindest ein Teil des bearbeiteten Gesamtdatenstroms an eine zweite Schicht übertragen. In der zweiten Schicht werden unter Verwendung der Informationen über das Fehlererkennungsfeld die Datenpakete des übertragenen Teils des Gesamtdatenstroms dem ersten Datenstrom und dem zweiten Datenstrom zugeordnet.
