Abstract

The invention relates to an adaptive differential sigma-delta modulator, wherein delta is adapted to the input and/or output signal. Basically, the invention introduces a new approach within the field of sigma-delta converters, as the invention introduces a non-fixed Δ value and consequently a variable quantisation noise.
