Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système perfectionnés de présentation et de vente d'articles tels que des objets de collection, permettant de visualiser des images de l'article avant de prendre une décision d'achat. Un vendeur désirant vendre un article fournit des données personnelles de contact, ainsi qu'une liste d'inventaire à une base de données (28) d'un système (18) de transaction sur réseau. Le système reçoit une demande d'un acheteur potentiel utilisant l'identificateur unique correspondant à un article d'intérêt. Lorqu'il reçoit la demande, le système accède à sa base de données inventaire en utilisant l'identificateur unique comme clé associée à un registre faisant référence à une image de l'objet de collection, et à d'autres informations utiles. Après avoir déterminé que le registre d'intérêt existe bien, le système affiche une ou plusieurs images représentant de manière précise l'apparence de l'article.
