Description

INDOOR GAME WITH DICE ELEMENTS
Technical field of the invention
The invention relates to a game, especially an indoor game.
Background Art
Many games are known, which are on one hand board games and the essence of which lies in moving dolls on the gameboard according to predetermined rules.
A lot of logical games or toys are also known, in which the cube plays a basic role as a basic body. The most known among them is the so-called Rubik's cube, in which the colours of the sides of the cube can be rearranged by rotating the sides due to the embodiment of its interior structure.
The HU-PS 183 540 discloses a cube the sides of which are provided with logical figures and the aim of this game is to form a plane or spatial formations by means of these figures.
The HU-PS 190 014 discloses a logical toy, in which the toy elements can be moved along a predetermined path. The disadvantage of the known games or toys lies in that only one person can play with them and they do not allow an indoor game.
Disclosure of the invention
The aim of the present invention is to form a toy suitable to an indoor game for any of the age-groups, from the smallest children to elder persons and can activate their brains.
The present invention is essentially based on the conventional game of dice but in these the achieved result depends only on chance. The acknowledge lies in that a game of dice can be formed by choosing suitably the mark bearer to be formed on the sides of the game element - cube - and applying different marks in which the achievable result depends not only on the chance of the player, but also his/her ability, i.e. intelligence. The aim of the invention can be realised by forming a game - especially indoor game - the features of which is having at least two regular and polygonal toy - elements consisting of a first and a second structural element, in which the surfaces of the lateral sides of the toy-elements are provided with different optional distinguishing marks.
A preferred embodiment of the game according to the invention is a cube which another preferred embodiment comprises brick-shaped toy-elements. A further preferred embodiment of the toy according to the invention comprises hollow toy-elements, the first and second structural elements forming the toy- element have the same shape as the toy-element itself and they are formed in such a manner that they can be slide into each other. Furtheron, an insertion element having the same shape as the toy elements is arranged in the interior of the first structural element, the insertion element being preferably made of foam sponge. In a preferred embodiment of the toy-element according to the invention the first and second structural elements are provided with paper foldings. In all preferred embodiments of the toy according to the invention the side of the second structural element determining the exterior surface of the toy-element is provided with different distinguishing marks, e.g. colours, letters, numbers, figures, figure parts, syllables etc.
Brief description of the drawings
An embodiment of the toy according to the invention will be described in details on basis of the following drawings, in which :
Fig 1 is a perspective view of a toy-element of the toy according to the invention; Fig 2 is a perspective view of the first structural element of the toy-element according to Fig 1 ;
Fig 3 is a perspective view of the second structural element of the toy-element according to Fig 1 ; and Fig 4 is an exploded view of the connection between the first and second structural element forming the toy-element according to Fig 1.
Detailed description of preferred embodiments
Fig 1 shows the toy-element 1 of the game according to the invention which is a cubic-like element consisting of two, a first 2 and a second structural element 3 which can be slided into each other as well as an insertion element 4 having the same shape as the toy-element 1 - in this case in he shape of a cube - and made preferably of foam spong which ensures the rigidity of the toy-element 1 and is arranged in the interior of the first structural element 2.
All sides of the toy element 1 - cube - are provided with distinguishing marks - colours, figures, figure parts, numbers, letters, syllables etc. depending on the type of the game. The distinguishing marks and their role are mentioned in more details in the description of the use of the game.
In Fig 2 the first structural element 2 consists of four, i.e. two sides 5 and 6 each ends. The sides 5 and 6 essentially correspond to the sides of a cube, a lug 7 is connected to two sides 5 of the cube arranged parallel with each other towards the missing bottom and upper side which are folded to the insertion element 4 arranged in the interior of the first structural element 2. The role of the lugs 7 will be later more detailed.
Fig 3 shows a second structural element 3 of the toy-element 1 which corresponds to the sides 8, 9, 10 and 11 of an empty cube, a lug 12 is connected to the side 10, by means of this lug 12 the sides 10 and 1 1 are connected to each other preferably with sticking and the structure of the empty cube - the bottom and upper side of which are missing - is also formed in this manner.
The toy-elements 1 of the game according to the invention are formed in such a way that the first structural element 2 provided with an insertion element 4 is slided into the second structural element along its two sides 6 when the sides 6 of the first structural element 2 are slided along the sides 8 and 10 of the second structural element. The first structural element 2 is slided into the second structural element 3 until the sides 5 of the first structural element 8 get into the position of the bottom and upper side of the cube forming the toy-element 1. During the sliding should be paid attention to that the lug 7 connected to the side 5 of the first structural element 2 gets under the sides 9 and 11 of the second structural element 3, thus the stability of the toy-element 1 is also increased. The necessity of stability is also proved by the way of the application of the game.
In some words the distinguishing marks formed on the surface of the toy-element 1 should here be mentioned again. All sides of the toy-element 1 are provided with different distinguishing marks. Only two sides 5 of the first structural element 2 being parallel with each other are provided with distinguishing marks, because they form the visible „game side „ of the toy-element 1 , i.e. the bottom and upper side of the cube. In the second structural element 3 on all sides 8, 9, 10 and 11 are provided with distinguishing marks.
Games of different difficulty degree can be formed depending on the distinguishing marks arranged on the toy-element of the game according to the invention. Thus it can offer an enjoyable game to persons of different age-groups from the children of kindergarten-age to adults. In this case the so-called „counterpart-searching game" is also such a kind of game if the distinguishing marks, figures etc. offer an enjoyable game to children of kindergarten age.
The game should be played at least with two cubes. Here should be noted that in this case the figures or drawings arranged on the surface of the toy-element 1 are also arranged on separate cards.
The players should choose on of the cubes as a ..leader cube" and then all the participants throw his/her favourite figure. The chosen figure should be collected on the card as well in the same colour as on the „leader cube". The „aim" is to throw the chosen figure with the other cube as well. The reward of the player finding the chosen figure is collecting the card having the other colour. E.g. in the case of playing by three players the twenty-one figures should be divided to equal parts, so a player can collect the cards of several figures on the occasion of one throwing. The final winner of the „counterpart-searching game" is the player who managed to collect the most doubled cards. The number of the players is reasonably unlimited. The other game which children of kindergarten-age can play also contains cards containing figures corresponding to those arranged on the surface of the toy-element 1.
Everyone throws once with the cube on all the sides of which figures are arranged. The participant who throws an „occupied" figure, should throw once more. The participants always throw once with the other „mosaic cube"as well. In the case of a lucky throwing the participants collect the cards and in the case of 2, 3 or 6 participants they should divide their cards. The game gets more exciting due to the quantity of cards collected by means of the mosaic cubes. The maximum number of the players is 6.
As it is obvious, the game formed in this way develops the children's ability to combine and their logic as well. The game according to the invention also offers for elder persons an enjoyable passing of their spare-time and in this case at least two toy-elements 1 are necessary. In this case numbers, mathematical operation signs, letters or syllables are arranged on the surfaces of the toy-element 1. In the embodiment provided with numbers and mathematical operation signs the aim is e.g. to collect 100 points, but is advisable to stop at a value between 95 and 105 points, because the unlucky player may overstep the aim to be achieved. The value of 95 points is as near to the aim as that of 105 points.
The player No. 1 throws once with the cube provided with numbers. His/her luck is indicated e.g. by the sides provided with numbers 4, 8, 12 and 16. He/she can choose one among these four numbers e.g. the number 16. Following this he/she estimates his/her luck on the basis of the mathematical operation signs which are x, ÷ ,+, -, . If his/her reward is a multiplication sign, the position of the player No. 1 is 16x. The other players also throw „their luck". Then the player No. 1 throws with the cube provided with numbers and then the cube with mathematical operation signs follows again, so that the 'aim" can move away from the player or get nearer for him/her.
The player stayed in 0 at the beginning of the party or got to 0 during the party is rewarded with 2 comfort points so that they are ready to get on participating in the game. The number of the players is reasonably unlimited. The advantage of the game lies in developing the „mathematical ability „ so the summing in the head and logic skill as well.
The game can also be played as a game for creating words. In this case the surfaces of the toy-element 1 are provided with letters instead of numbers and mathematical operation signs and the aim of the game is to compose rational words from the letters. Its advantage lies in developing the players' readiness of speech and at the same time the fluent reading.
The game according to the invention can not be limited to the cubic toy-elements 1 and the number of the players can also be more than two.
Therefore any other regular polygonal toy-element can also come up; in this way the game can also be made more complicated. However, attention should be paid to that the game does not get too complicated, because in this case the players get less real senses of achievement, so they will not be interested in the game any longer.
The advantage of the game according to the invention lies in that the basic material of its toy-element(s) is paper or any other material of natural basis which can be manufactured very easily.
Further advantages of the solution according to the invention lies in that new kind of games of chance like e.g. lottery, as well as machinery game variants such as computers or slot machines can also be created.
