Abstract

Programmable hearing aid (1), equipped with a microphone (2) for receiving acoustic signals to be amplified, an amplifier (4,8) connected to the microphone (2) on the input side to amplify the acoustic signals received by the microphone (2), a speaker (3) connected to the amplifier (8) on the input side for outputting the amplified acoustic signals, a receiver (9) for the wireless reception of control signal from an external operating unit (14), a control unit (11) linked to the receiver (9) at the input end to regulate the operating parameter of the amplifier depending on the control signal received via the receiver (9), in addition to a program storage (129) to store the operating program of the hearing aid (1). The control unit (11) is connected to the program storage (129) on the output side in order to program the operating program of the hearing aid (1) using the radio signals received wireless from the operating unit (14).
