Abstract

The invention concerns a device for maintaining the knot of a shoelace, preventing the user from falling. It consists of a support (1) formed by a disc cut off at 4/5 of its diameter, thereby having a straight edge (9). Said device comprises two oblong orifices (2) located on the diameter of the circle parallel to the straight edge, wherein the user inserts the shoelace ends (10). The user ties the shoelace with a single loop knot on the support. A cover (5) attached to the support by an articulation (4) is closed by a clip (7 and 8) on the support (1). Teeth (3) provided on the support and/or on the cover (6) enable the lace to be fixed. The annexed drawings illustrate the inventive device: after the loop knot has been tide, the user, by simple pressure, sets the cover on the support and the clip is snapped on, thereby fixing the shoelace, ensuring the user's safety.
