1. Method for controlling an electronic device by means of a menu structure, in which at least one menu item of a menu structure is assigned a control command (stel), first information (ill) is associated with that of a first one

Serve description of the menu item, second information (il2) are assigned, which serve a second description of the menu item, and third information (il3) are assigned, which are assigned to a third

Serve description of the menu item,

in which first information (ill) and second information (il2) are simultaneously displayed on a display device (DPL), and

The method as claimed in one of the preceding claims, in which the third information (il3) is more extensive than the first information (ill), and the area provided for displaying third information (il3) is the area provided for displaying first information (ill) corresponds, which is small compared to the area provided for displaying the second information (il2).

4. Arrangement (AE) for controlling an electronic device using a menu structure, with

a display device (DPL) for displaying information for describing a menu item, a storage device (SPE) for storing information about the assignment of at least one menu item to a control command (stel), first information (ill), which serve a first description of the menu item, second information (il2), which serve a second description of the menu item, and third information (il3), which serve a third description of the menu item,

5. Arrangement according to claim 4 with

a processor device (PE) which is set up in such a way that the third information (il3) is displayed in a scrolling manner.

6. Arrangement according to one of claims 4 or 5 with a processor device (PE), which is set up in such a way that the third information (il3) is more extensive than the first information (ill), and

the surface provided for displaying the third information (il3) corresponds to the surface provided for displaying the first information (ill), which is small compared to the surface provided for displaying the second information (il2).

7. Method for controlling an electronic device by means of a menu structure, in which at least one menu item of a menu structure is assigned at least one title (ill) and one help text (il3), wherein in the first times the title (ill) is displayed on a display device (DPL), and in second times the help text (il3) is displayed scrolling on the display device instead of the title.
