Abstract

The invention relates to a sleeve for storing at least one flat information carrier, in particular, at least one compact disc blank, or at least one (re)writable compact disc (CD), or digital versatile disc (DVD). Said sleeve has an introduction opening (40), its remaining edges (42, 44, 46) being closed, in addition to at least one external face (15, 17) and at least one internal face (35, 37), lying opposite the former. The sleeve is characterised in that the external face (15, 17) has at least one plastic film (10), that the internal face (35, 37) is provided at least partially with at least one plastic non-woven web (30), that the plastic film (10) and the non-woven web (30) lie flat against one another and that the plastic film (10) and the plastic non-woven web (30) are joined together at least at certain points, at least in a linear manner and/or at least partially in a planar manner.
