Abstract

The method of selling subscription-right of publications and electronic books on network by using one or more remote terminals and a host computer, where the host computer is connected to the remote terminal through a communication network. The method of selling subscription-right of publications and electronic books comprises the steps to be performed by the host computer, of receiving the information regarding the publications and electronic books for subscription from a user through a remote terminal, of granting the subscription right of the publication or electronic books to the user, and of permitting the user having the subscription right to access to the subscribed publication or electronic books for a limited period of time.

[Title of the Invention]

The Method of Selling Subscription-right of Publications and Electronic

Books on Internet and its System

[Technical Field]

The present invention relates to a method and a system of selling ticket

for subscribing to publications and electronic books on internet. More

specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a system of selling ticket

for subscribing to publications and electronic books on internet, wherein the ticket

is effective during a predetermined period, thereby making it possible for the. users

having the subscription ticket to read the publications and/or electronic books

irrespective of time and location.

[Background Art]

So far various methods for selling publications and electronic books

using internet or computer communication networks have been developed.

One of the methods is to impose using fee to user whenever the user

downloads a portion of material or whole material which are made in computer

files.

The other method is to impose using fee to user, depending on the period

during which the user has used the material.

According to the first method, a user connects with internet or computer

communication network, thereafter downloading publications or electronic books

the user wants to subscribe to, from data room which is run by a service provider. Then, the downloaded file is displayed in a monitor by reading program

installed in the user's computer. This method is same as the method wherein a

service provider runs a conventional data room.

However, this conventional method has a problem that the user should

read the downloaded material only in a place where the download is performed.

Further, if the user wishes to read the material, the user should always carry the

material wherever he/she goes.

In addition, if the publications or electronic books have a great amount,

downloading of the materials requires too much time. There has been a problem

that it is difficult to transfer the publications or electronic books to the other place

or carry them.

On the other hand, according to the latter method, the user read page in

data room after the user connects with internet or computer communication

networks. In this method, the service provider imposes using fee to the user,

depending on the period during which the user uses the service.

According to the time calculation method, using fee is imposed whenever

a user reads the material. Thus, the method is more convenient than the first method in that it is unnecessary for the user to carry out the material. However,

since using fee is imposed whenever the user reads the material, there is

disadvantage that the user unreasonably pays the using fee even when the user re¬

reads contents which the user has already read.

[Disclosure of the Invention] The object of the present invention is to provide a method and system for

selling ticket for subscribing to publications and electronic books, which makes it

possible to sell ticket for subscribing to and owing publications or electronic books

irrespective of time and location; which makes it possible to fulfill consumer's

desire for owning the publications or electronic books; and which makes it

possible to provide information service, with recognition of the consumer's

inclination.

Further, the object of the present invention is to provide a method and a

system for selling ticket for subscribing to publications and electronic books,

which makes it possible for a service provider to receive fee of transferring

ownership of publications/electronic books, in addition to membership fee and

using fee and to receive high value-added information regarding consumer's

interesting matters, thereby creating a new business model.

In order to accomplish the object of the present invention, the method for

selling ticket for subscribing to publications and electronic books, of the present

invention is performed by using at least one user computer and server computer

connected with said user computer through internet. The method provides user

with subscription ticket for using publications and electronic books selected by the

user during validity-period after receiving subscription request information

regarding the publications and electronic books which the user wants to subscribe

to, from the user computer; and provides the user computer with contents of the selected publications and electronic books, depending on the provided subscription

ticket.

According to the other aspect of the present invention, the method for

selling ticket for subscribing to publications and electronic books which is

performed by using at least one user computer and server computer connected with

said user computer through internet is provided. The server computer comprises

subscription ticket generating program for providing user with subscription ticket,

subscription ticket authenticating program for authenticating the user's

subscription ticket, subscription ticket request information database for storing

subscription request information, subscription ticket information database for

storing information regarding the user's subscription ticket, book information

database for storing contents of the publications and electronic books. Further,

the method comprises (a) a step for receiving the subscription request information

from the user computer and storing the information in the subscription ticket

request information database, (b) a step for generating subscription ticket so that

the user can use the selected publications and electronic books during validity-

period and by valid times, storing information regarding the generated subscription

ticket and printing in the user computer, (c) a step for receiving information

regarding subscription request from the user computer and providing the user

computer with the contents of the selected publications and electronic books

according to the scope of the authenticated subscription ticket. In order to manage the validity-period of the subscription ticket, the

server computer further comprises validity-period renewal program for treating the

renewal of validity-period of subscription ticket. Further, the method further

comprises a step for imposing using fee to the user when the user requests renewal

of the validity-period in the list showing subscription tickets that the user had

owned and that the user currently owns, changing the current state of the subscription ticket in subscription ticket table showing list of copyright products

that the user can subscribe to, into the state of "Being Used," and renewing the

user's subscription ticket.

On the other hand, according to the present invention, a system for selling

ticket for subscribing to publications and electronic books on internet is also

provided. The system has at least one user computer and server computer

connecting with the user computer through internet. The server computer

comprises subscription generating program for giving user subscription ticket,

subscription ticket authenticating program for authenticating the user's

subscription request information, subscription ticket information database for

storing information regarding the user's subscription ticket, book information

database for storing contents of publications and electronic books; and controller

which is programmed so as to receive subscription ticket request information from

the user computer and store it in said subscription ticket request information

database; generate subscription ticket for using publications and electronic books designated by the user by effective times at effective time or during effective

period, according to said subscription ticket request information; print the

information of the generated subscription ticket in the user computer; receive the

information regarding subscription request from the user computer and

authenticate the user's subscription ticket; and provide the user computer with the

contents of the designated publications and electronic books according to the scope

of the authenticated subscription ticket.

[Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention]

In the below, the method and system of selling ticket for subscribing to

publications and electronic books on internet according to a preferred embodiment

of the present invention, will be explained with reference to the drawings.

As shown in Fig. 1, the system of selling ticket for subscribing to

publications and electronic books on internet in accordance with the preferred

embodiment of the present invention, comprises user computer (10), internet (20)

and server computer (30).

Server computer (30) is the computer that belongs to the service provider

who sells tickets for subscribing to publications and electronic books on internet in

accordance with the present invention. The computer comprises controller and

databases.

User computer (10) is the computer that belongs to a person who

connects with server computer (30) to buy ticket for subscribing to, and receives contents of the publications and electronic books which are stored in server

computer (30) by the subscription ticket.

In addition, the system of the present invention can further comprise

managing computer that is connected to server computer (30) through separate

data connecting line or network, thereby managing server computer (30).

Server computer (30) and user computer (10) are connected to each other

by internet, one example of computer network. Thus, user computers that are

connected to one another has internet browsers such as Netscape and Internet

Explorer which make it possible to display web contents as form of HTML and

XML, etc.

On the other hand, the server computer has controller and databases that

are necessary for selling tickets for subscribing to publications and electronic

books on internet, and fire wall (40) for security. The controller has programs

which comprise main program (31) for managing whole program, user

authenticating program (32) for authenticating user, subscription ticket generating

program (33) for providing the user with subscription ticket, subscription ticket

authenticating program (34) for authenticating user's subscription ticket. The

server computer comprises validity -period terminating program (35) for

terminating validity-period of subscription ticket, validity-period renewal program

(36) for renewing validity-period of subscription ticket.

Further, the database comprises user information database (41) for storing

information of user, subscription ticket request information database (42) for storing information regarding subscription ticket request, subscription ticket

information database (43) for storing information regarding user's subscription

ticket, and publication information database (44) for storing the contents of

publications and electronic books.

That is, server computer (30) has the controller and the databases and is

embodied to the user as a web site of world wide web (WWW) on network such

as internet (20).

Thus, the user who connects with server computer (30) by user computer

(10) receives authentication to user ID and password by user authenticating

program (32) in accordance with main program (31), thereafter requesting

subscription ticket. Then, subscription ticket request information is stored in

subscription ticket request information database (41). After the user deposits

subscription fee to the service provider's account or electronic wallet,

subscription ticket generating program (33) generates subscription ticket

accordingly. The information regarding the generated subscription ticket is

stored in subscription ticket information database (43) and is transferred to the

user, thereby completing the process of selling subscription ticket.

Afterwards, the user who connects with server computer (30) receives

authentication to user's ID and password by user authenticating program (32) in

accordance with main program (31), thereafter requesting publications and

electronic books. Then, the user's subscription ticket is authenticated by subscription ticket authenticating program (34). If the authentication is completed, the contents of the publications and electronic books that are stored

in publications information database (44), are supplied to the user.

On the other hand, the validity-period of the subscription ticket can expire

by validity-period terminating program (35) and can be extended by validity-

period renewal program (36).

The subscription ticket means a ticket for reading publications or books.

The subscription ticket on internet, which is referred to in the present invention,

means a ticket for reading books through internet as reading a book which is

borrowed from a book borrowing store.

The user can read books repetitively through internet during validity-

period of the subscription ticket.

Further, the validity-period may be sorted into "predetermined" validity-

period, "unlimited" validity-period, "user-defined" validity-period. By the

"predetermined" validity-period, the user can use the service only during a

predetermined effective period. By the "unlimited" validity -period, the user

can use the service without time limitation. Finally, the "user-defined"

validity-period, the user can use the service only on the specified dates that are

defined by the user.

The subscription ticket request information may include ID, title, field, author, publishing company, publishing date, price, of the requested book,

information regarding payment, kind of the requested subscription ticket (validity- time, effective number of readable times, validity-period, general/free/fixed fee,

etc.) so that the user can input information regarding validity-period.

Further, the information regarding the subscription ticket may include

user ID, user name, password, kind of obtained subscription ticket (validity-time,

effective number of readable times, validity-period, general/free/fixed fee, etc.),

miscellaneous user information, information regarding books to which subscription

ticket is given.

The subscription request information or the information regarding the

subscription ticket can include various information in addition to said contents, and

can be modified and be changed.

The user pays a price for publications/electronic books or subscription fee

to the service provider. Then, the service provider sells subscription ticket that

makes it possible for the user to read the contents of the publications/electronic

books. In this way, the user can repetitively freely use the publications/electronic

books at any time during validity-period. Thus, the user does not need to pay

using fee when he/she reads the publications/electronic books again. Further, the

user can use the materials through internet irrespective of place where the user is.

In this way, the consuming desire of the user can be fulfilled since subscription

ticket of books is effective to the user during validity-period. Further, since the

user can read books through internet anywhere, it is convenient. Since the user

can always freely access the materials, the user does not have to copy the materials and keep the copied documents for later reading. Further, since the materials are not distributed as computer file, the security can be improved. The service

provider can maintain the data of materials which users use, thereby strengthening

client service.

According to the present invention, the user who uses the service through

internet, can search subscription tickets that are effective, and can read again at any

time the publications or electronic books, the subscription tickets for which are

effective.

Therefore, as shown in Fig. 2, according to the method of selling ticket

for subscribing to publications/electronic books on internet, of the present

invention, the service provider maintaining the system of the present invention

provides the user with tickets for subscribing to publications and electronic books

and tickets for owing thereof irrespective of time and location, thereby fulfilling

user's consuming desire and providing working information service to premium

clients.

Further, the user pays fees to the service provider for subscribing to

publications and electronic books, and price thereof, thereafter receiving

information regarding the user's interesting matters. Thus, it is possible to make

new high value-added profitable business model.

In the below, the method of selling ticket for subscribing to publications

and electronic books on internet will be described. As illustrated in Fig. 3, the

method of selling ticket for subscribing to publications and electronic books on

internet, provides a user with subscription ticket for using publications and electronic books designated by the user during validity-period after receiving

subscription request information regarding publications and electronic books the

user wants to subscribe to, from user computer. The contents of the designated

publications and electronic books are provided, depending on the provided

subscription ticket. In the method, the server computer for selling tickets for

subscribing to publications and electronic books on internet, is constituted. The

method comprises (a) a step for receiving subscription ticket request information

from the user computer and storing it in subscription ticket request information

database, (b) a step for, according to said subscription ticket request information,

generating subscription ticket by which the user can use the designated

publications and electronic books by effective number of readable times during

validity-period, storing the information regarding the generated subscription ticket,

and printing it in the user computer, (c) a step for receiving information regarding

subscription request from the user computer, authenticating the user's subscription

ticket and providing the contents of the designated publications and electronic

books to the user computer, depending on the scope of the authenticated

subscription ticket.

Further, in order to manage the validity-period, the method of selling

ticket for subscribing to publications and electronic books on internet can further

comprises (d) a step for checking the validity -period of the subscription ticket the

user owned at every predetermined period (every hour, everyday, every week, every month, etc.), changing the state of the subscription ticket to the state of "Expired" in subscription ticket table showing list of the copyright products that

the user can subscribe to, and limiting the Expired subscription ticket of the user,

(e) a step for imposing using fee to the user when the user requests to renew

validity-period in the list showing subscription ticket that the user had owned and

the user currently owns, changing the current state of the subscription ticket to the

state of "being used" in the subscription ticket table showing the list of the

copyright products that the user can subscribe to, and renew the subscription ticket

of the user.

Step (a) is a step of requesting subscribing ticket, which comprises a step

for providing the user computer with publication table showing list of publications

for which selling subscription ticket is possible; a step in which the user selects

copyright product the user wants to subscribe to, from said copyright product table

and selects the kind of the subscription ticket; and a step for imposing using fee to

the user, depending on the selected copyright product and the selected kind of the

subscription ticket. For example, as shown in Fig. 4, when a user connects with

the server computer through internet, ID and password that are inputted by the user

are compared to ID/password in user table as shown in Fig. 9, thereby carrying out

user authentication process. (SI 1)

Then, the user requests lists of books (S12) after completing connection.

The server computer makes a list of information (title, field, author, publishing

company, published date, price, miscellaneous information) of the publication

from publication table to provide the user computer with the list. (SI 3) The user selects a publication in the list that is provided by the server

computer. According to the selected publication and subscription ticket, the user

who pays fixed fee immediately receives subscription ticket if the user selects

general copyright product. However, if the user who pays fixed fee selects

copyright product that is not available with fixed fee or if the user is a general user,

the step of imposing using fee of the copyright product is performed. (SI 5) The

step of imposing using fee to the user is determined in accordance with the using

fee of a copyright product and kind of the subscription ticket. The using fee is

lowest for the "one-time" subscription ticket but is highest for the "unlimited"

subscription ticket. The using fee cannot exceed the using fee of the copyright

product.

After the user obtains the subscription ticket, the server increases the

value and use value that correspond to the sales of the copyright product in

copyright product table. Further, if the user deposits using fee to the service

provider's account or electronic wallet (SI 6), the server checks it and completes

the request of subscription ticket.

As shown in "classification" of Fig. 8, copyright products are sorted into

"General" and "Fixed Fee-Prohibited." The copyright products that belong to the

class of "General" can be available to users who pay fixed fees without additional

using fee. However, it is possible that the users who pay fixed fee can use the

copyright products that is sorted into the class of "Fixed Fee-Prohibited" if they pay additional using fee. As shown in "classification" of Fig. 9, the users are sorted into "Free,"

"General," "Fixed Fee." First, the user who is sorted into "General" can use

copyright product by obtaining subscription ticket for the copyright product.

Second, the user who pays fixed fee can use the copyright products that are sorted

into "General" during a predetermined period, without limitation. However,

additional using fee should be paid when the user uses copyright products that are

sorted into "Fixed Fee-Prohibited." Third, the user who is sorted into "Free" can

use general copyright products without fee. It is also possible that copyright

products that is sorted to "Fixed Fee-Prohibited" is used by the service provider's

convenience.

Further, as shown in "subscription ticket class" of Fig. 10, the

subscription ticket is sorted into "unlimited subscription ticket," "validity-period

subscription ticket," "user-defined .subscription ticket" and "one-time subscription

ticket." First, unlimited subscription ticket is ticket for using the corresponding

copyright product unlimitedly. That is, the user who owns the unlimited

subscription ticket for copyright products can use the copyright products at any

time. Second, validity-period subscription ticket means ticket for using the

copyright products only during a predetermined period. The validity-period subscription ticket is valid from beginning date to ending date which are specified

in the ticket. Since the validity-period subscription ticket is effective only during

a predetermined period, the validity-period subscription is cheaper than the

unlimited subscription ticket. Third, user-defined subscription ticket means ticket wherein a user can designate period or day of the week when the user wants to use

the copyright product. In this way, the user can use copyright products more

cheaply than the other types of tickets when the user wants to use the copyright

products in specified time, for example., evening time or weekend. Fourth, one-

time subscription ticket means the ticket wherein a user can use copyright products

only one time. This is cheapest among the above-mentioned three types of tickets.

Further, as shown in "current state" of Fig. 10, the subscription ticket is

sorted into "Being Used, "Period-Termination," "Suspending." First, the

subscription ticket that is sorted into "Being Used" means the ticket that a user can

use currently. Second, the subscription ticket that is sorted into "Period-

Termination" means the ticket wherein a user cannot use any more since validity-

period expires. Third, the subscription ticket that is sorted into "Suspending"

means the ticket which is suspended for a while because of user's circumstances.

On the other hand, as shown in Fig. 9, in step (b), the information of the

generated subscription ticket is stored in subscription ticket information database

every user ID as a form of user table, together with at least one among user

password, kind of subscription ticket, using period and user information.

Further, step (c) is the step for using subscription ticket, which comprises

a step for authenticating user who connects with the server computer and user's

subscription ticket; a step for providing list of authenticated user's subscription

ticket from subscription ticket table where the list of copyright products that the

user can use is recorded; a step for sending the contents of the copyright products the user selects in the list of the subscription ticket; and a step for renewing the

information regarding provision of copyright product, together with information of

the user. Specifically, as shown in Fig. 5, when a user connects with the server

computer through internet, as shown in Fig. 9, the inputted user's ID and password

are compared with ID and password of user's table, thereby authenticating the user.

Next, the user requests the list of subscription tickets that the user owns,

to the server computer. (S22) The server computer makes the list of information

(title, kind of subscription ticket, validity-period, etc.) related to the subscription

ticket from subscription ticket table and copyright product table, and provides the

user computer with the list. (S23)

The user selects a subscription ticket for a publication or electronic book

from the transferred list. (S24) The service server inspects the user, validity-

period, effective number of readable times, and effective days of the week, of the

subscription ticket, and authenticates the subscription ticket, thereafter providing

contents regarding the copyright product. (S25) Next, the user information is

renewed by adding using circumstances regarding the subscription ticket and the

use of the subscription ticket is completed.

Further, specifically explaining step (d), as shown in Fig. 6, the server

computer inspects the using period and the validity-period of the subscription

ticket owned by the user every predetermined period such as every hour, every

week, every month, every year. (S32) Then, in a case of general user, if the subscription ticket for which

validity-period expires is found (S34), the current state of the subscription ticket of

the subscription table is changed to "Expired." (S35)

In a case of the user who is sorted into "Fixed Fee," all of the user's

subscription ticket for which using period expires is changed to the state of

"Expired."

In a case of the subscription ticket which is sorted into "One-Time," the

subscription ticket is changed to "Expired" just after the subscription ticket is used.

Next, the subscription ticket is limited by decreasing use value of the

copyright product that is changed to "Expired," or by making the subscription

ticket authentication failed so that the copyright product cannot be confirmed. (S36)

Further, specifically explaining step (e), as shown in Fig. 7, according to

the step for renewing valid period, when a user connects with the server computer

through internet, the inputted user's name and password are compared to ID and

password of user table, thereby authentication user as shown in Fig. 9. (S41)

Then, when the user requests renewal of validity-period (S42), the server

computer provides the list of the subscription ticket owned by the user and the

subscription ticket that the user had owned in the past. (S43)

That is, the list regarding information (title, class of subscription ticket,

valid period, etc.) of subscription ticket which is being currently used or which

expires, is made from provided subscription ticket table and copyright product table and is provided to the user's computer. The user selects renewed

subscription ticket having effective period that the user wants to change, from

transferred list. (S44) The changing fee is imposed to the user, depending on the

selected subscription ticket. (S45)

Then, if the user pays the fee (S46), the paid fee is checked. Next, the

current state of the subscription ticket table is changed to the state of "Being

Used," and the validity-period is also changed, thereby renewing the subscription

ticket. (S47)

Further, the server computer can increase the use value of the copyright products.

Next, the user can use the subscription ticket, depending on the scope of

the renewed subscription ticket. (S48)

The aforementioned processes of the method may be changed or

modified in order to make the method of selling ticket for subscribing to

publications and electronic books suitable on internet.

That is, the present invention is not limited to the aforementioned

embodiments and may be modified within the scope of the inventive idea of the

present invention without destroying the idea.

For example, the embodiment of the present invention explains the

concept of subscription ticket. However, the subscription ticket may be

substituted by selling ticket, lending ticket, or keeping ticket. The publications and electronic books may be substituted by all books consisting of drawings or

printing that is embodied on online, as well as literal books and technical books.

Thus, the claimed scope of the present invention is not defined by the

detailed explanation, but is defined by the claims and the technical idea of the

claims.

[Industrial Applicability]

According to the method and system of the present invention, of selling

ticket for subscribing to publications and electronic books on internet, the user can

have feeling similar to ownership by selling subscription ticket, thereby fulfilling

the desire for owning them during validity-period. Further, since the service is

provided through internet, the limitation regarding place is overcome, thereby

providing convenience.

The service provider can maintain the data that the user had used. In

this way, the related fields in which the user has interest can be recognized. Thus,

providing information is possible when the data of the related fields is registered.

Further, since the frequency of using data can be recognized, it is possible to

distinguish the premium clients from the other clients to take care of them. In

addition, the user can make bookmark in every material for which the user has

subscription ticket, thereby providing convenience to the users.

[Claim 1]

A method for selling ticket for subscribing to publications and electronic

books by using at least one user computer and server computer connected with said

user computer through internet, wherein

said method provides user with subscription ticket for using publications

and electronic books selected by the user during validity-period after receiving

subscription request information regarding the publications and electronic books

which the user wants to subscribe to, from the user computer; and provides the

user computer with contents of the selected publications and electronic books,

depending on the provided subscription ticket.

A method for selling ticket for subscribing to publications and electronic

user computer through internet,

wherein said server computer comprises subscription ticket generating

program for providing user with subscription ticket, subscription ticket

authenticating program for authenticating the user's subscription ticket,

subscription ticket request information database for storing subscription request

information, subscription ticket information database for storing information regarding the user's subscription ticket, book information database for storing

contents of the publications and electronic books,

and wherein said method comprises

(a) a step for receiving the subscription request information from the user

computer and storing the information in the subscription ticket request information

database,

(b) a step for generating subscription ticket so that the user can use the

selected publications and electronic books during validity-period and by valid

times, storing information regarding the generated subscription ticket and printing

in the user computer,

(c) a step for receiving information regarding subscription request from

the user computer and providing the user computer with the contents of the

selected publications and electronic books according to the scope of the

authenticated subscription ticket.

The method of Claim 2, wherein said subscription request information

comprises at least one among ID of requested copyright product, title, field, author,

publishing company, publishing date, information of price and account, kind of

requested subscription ticket (validity-time, effective using times, validity-period,

general/free/fixed free, etc.).

The method of Claim 2, wherein said information regarding subscription

ticket comprises at least one among user ID, user name, password, kind of

obtained subscription ticket (validity-time, effective using times, validity-period,

general/free/fixed fee, ect.), miscellaneous user information, information regarding

copyright product to which subscription ticket is given.

The method of Claim 2, wherein said step (a) comprises a step for providing the user computer with

copyright product table that shows list of copyright product wherein subscription

ticket can be sold;

a step for selecting copyright product that the user wants to subscribe to

and selecting kind of the subscription ticket; and

a step for imposing using fee to the user according to the kind of the

selected copyright product and the kind of subscription ticket.

The method of Claim 2, wherein said step (b) is characterized in that

information of the generated subscription right is stored in subscription ticket

information database every user ID as form of user table, together with at least one among user password, kind of subscription ticket, using period and user

information.

The method of Claim 2, wherein said server computer further comprises

validity-period terminating program for treating the termination of the validity-

period of the subscription ticket,

and wherein said method further comprises a step for checking validity-

period of the subscription ticket that the user owns every predetermined period

(every hour, every day, every week, every month, etc.), changing current state of the subscription ticket in subscription ticket table showing list of copyright

products that the user can subscribe to, into the state of expiry and limiting the

user's expired subscription ticket.

The method of Claim 2, wherein said server computer further comprises

validity-period renewal program for treating the renewal of validity-period of

subscription ticket,

and wherein said method further comprises a step for imposing using fee

to the user when the user requests renewal of the validity-period in the list showing

subscription tickets that the user had owned and that the user currently owns,

changing the current state of the subscription ticket in subscription ticket table

showing list of copyright products that the user can subscribe to, into the state of

"Being Used," and renewing the user's subscription ticket.

A system for selling ticket for subscribing to publications and electronic

books on internet, said system having at least one user computer and server

computer connecting with the user computer through internet,

wherein said server computer comprises subscription generating program

for giving user subscription ticket; subscription ticket authenticating program for

authenticating the user's subscription ticket; subscription ticket request information database for storing subscription request information; subscription

ticket information database for storing information regarding the user's

subscription ticket; book information database for storing contents of publications

and electronic books;

and controller which is programmed so as to receive subscription ticket

request information from the user computer and store it in said subscription ticket

request information database; generate subscription ticket for using publications

and electronic books designated by the user by effective times at effective time or

during effective period, according to said subscription ticket request information; print the information of the generated subscription ticket in the user computer;

receive the information regarding subscription request from the user computer and

of the authenticated subscription ticket.
