Abstract

The invention relates to a label configuration and to a method for the production thereof. The configuration comprises several individual labels (1), which are arranged one above the other and which can be detachably joined to one another. Each label (1) comprises a medium (2) that can be modified by laser radiation or heat treatment. The labels are pervious to the laser/heat treatment so that the labels arranged one above the other can provide, during a working operation, several labels (1) with items of information (5) especially by means of a laser (4) to which the modifiable medium (2) preferably reacts while undergoing a change in color or the like and, as a result, the course of production during the inscription of labels (1) is considerably simplified, and the production costs associated therewith are distinctly reduced.
