Abstract

The sprayer cylinder (1) with laterally mounted shoulder strap (7), with a bottom opening to which a plastic hose is connected for the product delivery through the gun handle with valve up to the spray-nozzle (5). The mid-section of the cylinder includes a battery (3) connected to the switching box (4) with ON/OFF switch, then a pressure switch (8) that controls the lowest and highest preset values of the compressed air within the cylinder and switches the electric compressor (2) on as required, thus creating the pressure within the cylinder. At the top of the cylinder, there is a cover for the product refill opening.

Description

ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR BACK SPRAYER
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION SCOPE OF THE INVENTION
The present invention involves a back sprayer with in-built system for air compression in the product tank by means of an incorporated battery-supplied electric compressor. TECHNICAL PROBLEM
This invention improves a traditional (manually operated) back sprayer and thus solves the problem of repeated taking-off and pumping of back sprayers. Besides, in terms of environmental protection, the operation of this back sprayer has no adverse environmental impact as compared to back-sprayers with internal combustion motor drive. TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
The back sprayers known so far included traditional back sprayers (manual pumping) and back sprayers with internal combustion motor drive. ESSENTIAL FEATURES OF THE INVENTION
The main objective of the invention is the installation of an air compression system in the back sprayers that will meet the highest environmental requirements and to achieve a constant preset pressure within the sprayer cylinder, reduction of noise during the motor operation, automatic air compression control, very small weight of the sprayer. BRIEF DRAWING DESCRIPTION
The drawing shows the electric battery supplied sprayers with all its elements. 1. Sprayer cylinder
2. Battery-supplied compressor
3. Batteries
4. Switching box-switch
5. Sprayer gun handle 6. Tank cover
7. Shoulder strap
8. Pressure switch DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION DEVELOPMENT The accompanying drawing that is included in the description and makes an integral part of the description, illustrates the system and method of operation of the electric compressor sprayer.
1. The sprayer cylinder (to which other component parts of the electric compressor, shoulder strap, battery, pressure switch, two outlets and one air inlet valve are mounted).
2. Electric compressor (designed for D.C. power supply from the batteries mounted on the sprayer cylinder).
3. Batteries (installed on the sprayer cylinder and connected to the switching box furnished with a switch and a socket for battery charging without removing them from the sprayer cylinder).
4. Electric switching box with a switch (the switching box incorporates a switch for the switching-on of the compressor, connected also to the pressure switch that controls the pressure within the sprayer by switching the compressor on and off; a socket for battery charging without dismantling from the sprayer cylinder, and a socket for the sprayer connection to a single-phase power supply over an adapter, which can also be used for the connection to a car battery supply.
5. Sprayer gun handle (with valves and hose)
6. Sprayer cylinder cover 7. Shoulder strap
8. Pressure switch (installed between the compressor and cylinder, connected over the switching box to the current circuit for the compressor switching-on, designed for the control of the air pressure within the cylinder). MODE OF APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION The present invention makes the operation of a back sprayer much easier as compared to traditional sprayers. The characteristics of the electric compressor back sprayer include: portability, noise-free operation, constant preset pressure within the cylinder and better efficiency both in terms of the time required for the spraying of a certain area and in terms of product-saving. Another advantage of this sprayer is that the electric compressor operation has no adverse impact on the environment.

Claims

PATENT CLAIMS
1. The electric compressor back sprayer is composed of a cylinder, batteries, battery-supplied electric compressor, pressure switch and power switch and is designed for the air compression within the cylinder by means of a battery supplied electric compressor. The gravitation force of the compressed air expels the product through the opening on the bottom of the cylinder.
2. The back sprayer is characterised by the battery installed on the cylinder, which serves as a power supply source for the electric compressor operation.
3. The back sprayer is characterised by the electric compressor installed on the cylinder, which compresses the air within the cylinder.
4. The back sprayer is characterised by a pressure switch installed on the cylinder, which controls the lowest and highest preset pressure values of the compressed air within the cylinder by switching the electric compressor on and off. 5. The back sprayer is characterised by a switching box installed on the cylinder, which includes a switch breaking the circuit between the batteries (2) and the electric compressor (3), and between them there is also a pressure switch (4) connected to the circuit (+) that controls the air compression within the cylinder by switching on DC power supply required for the electric compressor operation.
AMENDED CLAIMS
[received by the International Bureau on 26 October 2001 (26.10.01)); new claims 6-11.2 added; remaining claims unchanged (1 page)]
Patent claims:
6. The solar module is mounted onto the sprayer body and it serves as a charger of the battery which enables operation of an electrical compressor and other electrical assemblies. By means of microprocessor it is connected with the LCD display on which it's operation is controlled. The solar module consists of elements and units which convert light energy into the electrical energy.
7. Switches construed for the operation of compressor and other electrical components are mounted on the valve handle of the sprayer.
8. Small LCD display, placed on the valve handle, indicates information concerning values and condition of installed devices for the operation of portable sprayer.
9. Control panel with on off switches for electrical devices is mounted on the flexible tube fixed on the sprayer. The LCD display required for the indication of information available for the operation of electrical devices and sprayer is incorporated. Installed microprocessor processes the necessary data. lO.Pneumatic lift provided for lifting of the sprayer to the desired height, which enables easy placement of sprayer onto the shoulders, is mounted on the body of the sprayer. The pneumatic lift is composed of sliding pipes for lifting of sprayer by air compression by means of an electric compressor.
11. Mini-generators are mounted in the air supply system and in the system for discharge of fluids from tank. They charge the battery with the electric energy (controlled by microprocessors), as well as the solar module do. Excess of electric energy serves for the operation of electrical devices and assemblies.
11.1 Electric motor is mounted on the sprayer body and lifts portable sprayer to the desirable height by meas of worm gears through the gear lath.
11.2 Electric motor is mounted on the sprayer body and lifts portable sprayer to the desirable height through the pulleys connected with ropes.
