Abstract

A remote diagnostic unit (12) for connection between a local computer and at least one input device and comprising a modem for connecting to a remote computer via a data link, the unit being operable to substitute input from the at least one input device with input from a remote computer connected via said link, thereby to remotely control the local computer.
