Abstract

The present invention is related to shoes having an electric generator, particularly, to shoes generating electricity through using an electric generator which is equipped beneath a sole of shoes. Shoes according to the present invention have heating apparatus or a light emitting apparatus that run by electricity, and therefore can be heated by themselves or turn a light for warning in the night. And according to the invention, shoes can heat themselves or emit for warning semi-permanently because electric power can be generated without the support of external electric power.

Description

SHOES HAVING ELECTRIC GENERATOR
Field of the Invention
This invention generally relates to shoes having electric generators, more specially, to shoes having electric generators for generating electricity by the electric generators mounted on the lower side of soles of shoes, using pressure of walking feet as a motive power. This invention further comprises heaters and light emitting elements using the generated electricity in the shoes, to heat the walking shoes or turn on/off attached warning lights.
Heating shoes in accordance with this invention can be used for heating the feet of people, who are engaged in night guard, sales, military forces, and sports. In addition, shoes with attached lights in accordance with this invention can be used to prevent people who are engaged in night works from being in a traffic accident by the warning lights.
Background of the Invention
It is difficult for conventional heating shoes in Korean Patent Unexamined Publication No. 1983-6949, publicized in Dec. 12, 1983 to constantly and repeatedly supply a motive power. Some shoes with attached lights are used in shoes for youth, but they are not utilized because they cannot solve problems to semi-permanently supply a motive power using batteries.
Summary of the Invention
It is an object of the present invention to provide shoes for generating electricity by walking feet.
To achieve the above object, this invention provides shoes having electric generators for generating electricity by walking feet, and each shoe comprises a front sole, a back sole, a support part, a spring, a first driving shaft supporting means, a second driving shaft supporting means, driving shafts, crankshafts, a driving gear, and a generator. The front sole is fixed on the bottom of the shoe. The back sole is connected to the front sole, and moves up and down by a walking foot on the basis of a connected point with the front sole. The support part is a portion of a shoe heel located on the back of the back sole, and restricts the range of vertical movements of the back sole. The spring is located between a bottom surface of the back sole and a bottom surface of the shoe. The first driving shaft support is fixed on the back sole between the spring and the shoe heel. The second driving shaft support is fixed on the bottom surface of the shoe located in the front side of the spring. One end of a driving shaft is supported by being connected to the first driving shaft supporting means, and a middle part thereof is supported by the second driving shaft supporting means. The crankshafts are connected with the driving shaft on the opposite side of the driving shaft connected with the first driving shaft supporting means. A center of the driving gear is connected with the crankshafts. The generator has a shaft gear, which is in gear with the driving gear.

Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiment
This invention will now be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which preferred embodiments of the invention are shown. This invention may, however, be embodied in different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art. In the drawings, the thickness of layers and regions are exaggerated for clarity. It will also be understood that when a layer is referred to as being "on" another layer or substrate, it can be directly on the other layer or substrate or intervention layers may be also be present. Moreover, each embodiment described and illustrated herein includes its complementary conductivity type embodiment as well.
Referring to FIG. 1 , a first sectional view of shoes in accordance with the present invention comprises as follows. A front sole (1) is fixed on a bottom part of a shoe. A back sole (1 ') is connected to the front sole
( I) by a connection pin ( 10), and moves up and down on the basis of a connected point. A support part (2 ') is a portion of a shoe heel (2") vertically located on the back of the back sole, and restricts the range of vertical movements of the back sole. Air between the soles (1 , 1 ') and a bottom surface (13) of the shoe goes in and out in air gate (2). A spring (3) is located between a bottom surface of the back sole and the bottom surface (13) of the shoe. A cylinder (3 ') surrounds the spring to prevent the spring from being separated. A first driving shaft support (4') is fixed in the back sole between the spring and the shoe heel. A second driving shaft support (4") is fixed on the bottom surface of the shoe located on a front side of the spring. One end of a driving shaft (4) is supported by being connected to the first driving shaft support, and a middle part thereof is supported by the second driving shaft support. Crankshafts (1 1) are connected to the driving shaft on the opposite side of the driving shaft connected with the first driving shaft support. A driving shaft supporting spring (7) is fixed on the bottom surface of the shoe between the end of the driving shaft connected with the crankshafts
(I I) and the second driving shaft support, and is connected with the driving shaft. A driving gear (5) is connected to the center of the crankshafts. A generator (6) has a shaft gear (12), which is in gear with the driving gear. An electric wire (9) is from the generator. An electrothermal wire (8) is connected to the electric wire. Referring to FIG. 2, a first plan view of shoes in accordance with the present invention comprises as follows. A front sole (1) is fixed on a bottom part of a shoe. A back sole (1 ') is connected to the front sole (1) by a connection pin (10), and moves up and down on the basis of a connected point. A support part (2') is a portion of a shoe heel (2") vertically located on the back of the back sole, and restricts vertical movements of the back sole. Air gate (2) is located on both ends of the shoe heel (2"). A first driving shaft support (4') and a second driving shaft support (4") are located on the center of the back sole (1 '). A spring (3) is symmetric with the left and the right side of both of the driving shaft supports. A cylinder (3 ') prevents the spring from being separated. Driving shafts (4) are comprised as well. A driving shaft spring (7) is located on outer sides of both of the driving shafts. Crankshafts (1 1) are located on front inner sides of both of the driving shafts. A driving gear (5) is inserted between both of the crankshafts. A generator (6) has a generator shaft gear ( 12), which is in gear with the driving gear. An electric wire (9) is from the generator. An electrothermal wire (8) is connected to the electric wire, and is located on a bottom surface of a sole in a zigzag shape.
When a heel of a walking foot presses the back sole (1 '), the back sole (! ') goes down by making the support part (2") go down with the front sole (1) being fixed. When the back sole (1 ') goes down, air between the sole and the bottom surface (13) is deflated through the air gate (2), maintaining the same pressure as an atmospheric pressure. Also, the first driving shaft support (4') fixed on the back sole (1 ') goes down and the driving shaft (4) connected to one end of the first driving shaft support (4') goes down. When one end of the driving shaft (4) goes down, the second driving shaft support (4") connected to the center of the driving shaft (4) plays a lever to raise the opposite end of the driving shaft (4). Consequently, the crankshafts (1 1) rotate to a clockwise direction, rotating the driving gear (5). On the contrary, when the heel of the walking foot goes up, the spring (3) raises the back sole (1 ') by making the upper support part (2") go up. When the back sole ( 1 ') goes up, air is inhaled from outside through the air gate (2). The cylinder (3 ') is located around the spring (3) to prevent the spring from being separated. An upper part of the cylinder (3 ') is fixed on the back sole (1) and a lower part thereof is fixed on the bottom surface (13) of the shoe. When the back sole (1 ') goes up, the first driving shaft support (4') fixed on the back sole (1 ') is raised. When one side of the driving shaft (4) goes up, the second driving shaft support (4") connected to the center of the driving shaft (4) plays a lever to lower the opposite end of the driving shaft (4). Because the supporting spring (7) pulls the opposite end of the driving shaft (4), the opposite end of the driving shaft (4) goes down. As a result, the crankshafts (1 1) rotate to a clockwise direction constantly, to rotate the driving gear (5). As the driving gear (5) rotates to a clockwise direction, the generator shaft gear (12) rotates to a counterclockwise direction, causing electricity in the generator (6). The electricity of the generator (6) is supplied to the electrothermal wire (8) by the electric wire (9) as a heater in the present embodiment, generating heat.
Referring to FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, a second sectional view and a second plan view in accordance with the present invention have the same structure except the electrothermal wire (8) connected to the electric wire of the generator (6), in comparison with the first sectional view and the first plan view of FIG. 1 and FIG. 2. As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, light emitting elements are connected to the electric wire (9) of the generator from the second sectional view and the second plan view, and five light emitting diodes (20) are on the right and the left of the front and the back side of the soles, respectively, in the present embodiment.
Referring to FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 for detailed operations of a driving unit of shoes in accordance with the present invention, the driving unit comprises as follows. A driving gear (5) is assembled in a support fixed on a bottom surface (13) of the shoe. Vertical movements of driving shafts (4) are converted into rotative movements of the driving gear (5) by crankshafts (11). The two crankshafts (11) connected to the driving gear (5) are on the right and the left on the basis of the driving gear (5), to stably rotate the driving gear (5). Oval-shaped holes are formed in the driving shaft (4) to move along the driving shafts (4) when the crankshafts (1 1) rotate. Supporting springs (7) are in the left and the right driving shafts (4), respectively, and return the driving shafts (4) downward to make the crankshafts (1 1) located downward all the time. Consequently, the driving gear (5) rotates constantly by a walking power.
It is therefore possible to produce electricity semi-permanently by mounting a simple device using vertical movements of walking feet, without a constant and repeated external dynamic power. It is also available to heat shoes by heaters of the shoes or turn on light emitting elements, preventing people who are engaged in night works from being in traffic accident.

Claims

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
1. Shoes having electric generators for generating electricity by walking feet, each of the shoes comprising: a front sole fixed on a bottom part of the shoe; a back sole connected to the front sole, moving vertically by a walking foot on the basis of a connected point; a support part being a portion of a shoe heel, which is vertically located on the back of the back sole, restricting the range of vertical movements of the back sole; a spring located between a bottom surface of the back sole and a bottom surface of the shoe; a first driving shaft supporting means fixed on the back sole between the spring and the shoe heel; a second driving shaft supporting means fixed on the bottom surface of the shoe located in a front side of the spring; driving shafts, wherein one ends thereof are supported by being connected to the first driving shaft supporting means and middle parts thereof are supported by the second driving shaft supporting means; crankshafts connected to the driving shafts on the opposite side of the driving shafts connected with the first driving shaft supporting means; a driving gear, wherein the center thereof is connected with the crankshafts; and a generator having a shaft gear, which is in gear with the driving gear.
2. The shoes of claim 1 , wherein an air gate is further comprised, and air between the soles and the bottom surface of the shoe goes in and out in the air gate.
3. The shoes of claim 1, wherein a cylinder for surrounding the spring to prevent the spring from being separated is further comprised, an upper part of the cylinder is fixed on the back sole and a lower part thereof is fixed on the bottom surface of the shoe.
4. The shoes of claim 1 , wherein driving shaft supporting springs are further comprised in the driving shafts, the driving shaft supporting springs are fixed on the bottom surface of the shoe between end parts of the driving shafts connected with the crankshafts and the second driving shaft support, and the driving shaft supporting springs are connected with the driving shafts.
5. The shoes of claim 1 , wherein a heater connected to an electric wire of the generator is further comprised.
6. The shoes of claim 5, wherein the heater is an electrothermal wire.
7. The shoes of claim 1, wherein light emitting elements connected to the electric wire of the generator are further comprised.
8. The shoes of claim 7, wherein the light emitting elements are light emitting diodes.
