Abstract

The invention concerns an ultrasound humidifier consisting of at least a piezoelectric crystal (3) and a generator (7). The crystal and its generator are incorporated in a small and easily removable housing (2) ensuring impermeability to water and to electromagnetic waves. The housing (2) comprises a cover (20) and a hood (9) and hence can be screwed at the base of a water tank. The housing with the exhausted piezoelectric crystal can easily be unscrewed by the user himself to replace it with a new housing. A metal plate (6) inside the housing (2) ensure its impermeability to electromagnetic waves produced by the generator and enables to easily dissipate the heat produced by the transistor.
