Abstract

The invention concerns a method for carrying out a commercial transaction over a communication network, such as Internet, between a server (3) marketing goods and/or services of a provider and a connection device such as a personal computer (1) enabling a buyer to access said commercial server (3). The invention is characterised in that the provider and the buyer are registered with a common telecommunication operator and it is said telecommunication operator who authorises the transaction from joint requests transmitted by the provider and the buyer and who triggers, once the transaction has been authorised, the payment of the provider, said payment being then re-billed to the buyer by said telecommunication operator.
