Abstract

A system and a method for providing a service of a telecommunication network, having a telephone device and at least one service server (7), to at least one subscriber (10, 12) of a Internet Telephony network (ITN) (5). The ITN includes at least one terminal (3, 4) and at least one bridge (6) for connecting between the telecommunication network to the ITN. The method of providing service calls the service server and request a service, notifies of a request for the service to a subscriber of the ITN (220); transmits for providing the service to the subscriber and operating the service by the subscriber using the transmitter (230).
