Abstract

The invention relates to an array of electrical lines (2) and optical waveguides (3) and to passive and active optical components in a foil line assembly. The electrical lines and the optical waveguides are embedded or applied in flexible polymer foils (1) and form foil circuits by means of appropriate optical connections to the passive and active optical components.
