Abstract

A method for the transmission of transmission data pre-recorded on a portable data transmission device (DPTD) to a receiver capable of receiving said transmission data, whereby said DPTD comprises an electronic chip with a memory device, a communication device for transmitting said transmission data, which is connected to the electronic chip and a biometric parameter reader which is connected to the electronic chip, the transmission data and pre-recorded biometric data being stored in the electronic chip, comprises the following steps: a) provision of a biometric parameter for the biometric parameter reader; b) acquisition, by means of the biometric parameter reader, of biometric data representative of the biometric parameter; c) comparison of the recorded biometric data with pre-recorded biometric data; and d) if the recorded biometric data is sufficiently similar to the pre-recorded biometric data, transmission of the data for transmission by means of the communication device.
