Abstract

An induction generator power supply comprises a prime mover (12), an induction generator (14) operably connected to the prime mover (12) and having a generator output (18), and a phase shift circuit (22), having a circuit input (20) and a circuit output (24), the circuit input (20) connected to the generator output (18). The power supply also comprises an AC to DC (28) converter, having a converter input (26) and a converter output (30), the converter input (26) connected to the circuit output (30), and an energy reservoir (34) having a reservoir input (32) connected to the converter output (30).
