Description

IMPRESSION COPING FOR IMPLANT OPERATION
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to impression coping for implant treatments capable of smoothly maintaining heights and angles of impressed portions upon taking teeth impressions to perform precise treatments.
More particularly, the present invention relates to impression coping for implant treatments capable of performing precise treatments by taking an auxiliary coping together in a state fixed to an impression material upon taking a teeth impression, precisely molding a teeth pattern of a patient, and fabricating a prosthetic device in the same as a shape of natural teeth.
BACKGROUND ART In general, the implant treatments are to mold a prosthetic device of artificial teeth and join it into an abutment by mounting an screw-shaped artificial tooth root, that is, a fixture, formed in titanium(Ti) of body-friendly substance into alveolar bone by a drilling job and tightly coupling the fixture to an abutment as bone adjacent the mounted fixture is joined and hardened.
In comparison with the bridge which is the most general teeth restoration method, the implant treatments can be applied only to impaired portions without destructing adjacent teeth or soft tissue or bone tissue, and maintained and supported by the bone tissue so that force continues to be applied to the bone tissue to delay an absorption speed of the bone tissue and restore a chewing force to the same level as natural teeth as well as restore esthetic appearance nearly to the same level as natural teeth, which leads the implant treatments to a worldwide trend in restoring teeth.
In such implant treatments, it is most important to manufacture and precisely position a prosthetic device according to a teeth pattern of a patient, for which a teeth pattern of a patient is taken with an impression material, a precise teeth mold is fabricated, the most precise prosthetic device is manufactured with the teeth mold, and actual treatments are performed, the impression taking proceeds with coupling an impression coping over an abutment, covering a fluid impression material over the coupling, and taking out a teeth pattern, and, thereafter, a teeth mold is manufactured by pouring gypsum.
However, the impression material is essentially accompanied by fluidity due to its material characteristics so that errors occur to a certain extent even in case that the impression taking is precisely carried out, by which a problem is caused which does not correspond to a teeth pattern of a patient when a prosthetic device is fabricated.
Such a problem in the prior art is disclosed in the United States Patent Nos. 5,993,211 , 5,040,983, and 4,758,161
DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION In order to solve the above problem, it is an object of the present invention to provide an impression coping for implant treatments capable of taking out an auxiliary coping in a state fixed to an impression material upon taking a teeth impression and precisely fabricating a teeth pattern of a patient so that the manufacture and treatments of a prosthetic device are precisely carried out.
It is another object of the present invention to provide an impression coping for implant treatments capable of enhancing esthetic feelings in harmony of heights and angles with adjacent natural teeth after implant treatments. It is yet another object of the present invention to provide an impression coping for implant treatments capable of easily fixing artificial teeth by forming on an abutment threads corresponding to a screw in order for the artificial teeth to be fixed in the abutment by the screw.

At this time, according to a preferred embodiment, the face parts formed on the outer circumference of the auxiliary coping are formed in the same or different lengths in the same interval, and an annular locking groove is formed on the outer circumference of the screw and a locking protrusion corresponding to the locking groove is formed in the inner side of the auxiliary coping.
Further, a groove formed annular on the outer circumference of the impression coping is provided to form a protrusion on the impression material when taking an impression, and a step part is formed on the outer circumference of the impression coping to restrain an insertion depth of the auxiliary coping with respect to the impression coping.
In order to solve the above objects, in an impression coping for implant treatments wherein a lower end part of the impression coping is screwed to a fixture mounted into alveolar bone and an impression material is covered over an abutment having a face part formed on an upper outer circumference of a middle boundary part so that an impression is taken, the impression coping for implant treatments according to another embodiment of the present invention is characterized by providing an auxiliary coping having an engagement groove formed on an inner side in correspondence to a length and outer circumference shape of an upper part of the middle 1886
boundary part, an engagement protrusion bent inside to cover the middle boundary part of the abutment for coupling, and undercut parts formed in multiple stages on the upper part of the outer interference to be fixed to the impression material, wherein the auxiliary coping is coupled on the upper part of the abutment, over which the impression material is covered so that the auxiliary coping is taken in a state fixed to the impression material upon taking an impression.
At this time, according to a preferred embodiment, a face part corresponding to the face part of the abutment is formed on the outer circumference of the auxiliary coping and a bridge is formed to connect plural undercut parts of the undercut parts in an up and down direction so that the auxiliary coping is prevented from rotations with respect to the impression material.
Further, a screw opening corresponding to a screw is formed in the abutment in order for artificial teeth molded by the impression material to be screwed and fixed to the abutment.

As the impression material 54 of synthetic resin having fluidity is covered over natural teeth adjacent to an implant treatment portion, the teeth pattern of a patient appears in the impression material 54 in a groove fashion, and, when the impression material 54 is separated after the impression material 58 is hardened to a certain extent, the undercut parts 57 on the upper end part of the auxiliary coping 60 is taken out together with the impression material 54 since it is in a state fixed to the impression material 54.
At this time, the auxiliary coping 60 can be prevented from rotations with respect to the impression material 54 by means of a bridge 58 connected on both sides between the second and third undercuts 57 of the auxiliary coping 60 in the same height and the face part 59 formed on the auxiliary coping 60 in correspondence to the face part 53 of the abutment 51 , and the height of the portion impressed by the undercuts 57 can be smoothly maintained. Hereinafter, forming a teeth mold after taking the impression is the same as described in Embodiment 1 , so the description thereon will be omitted.
[Embodiment 3] Fig. 9 is an assembled cross-sectioned view for showing an impression coping for implant treatments according to yet another embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in Fig. 9, an impression coping for implant treatments according to yet another embodiment of the present invention is related to the fixture 61 mounted into the alveolar bone, the abutment 51 the lower end part of which is screw-coupled to the fixture 61 and on the middle part of the outer circumference of which the middle boundary part 52 is formed, the auxiliary coping 61 having the engagement protrusion 56 formed on the lower part and coupled to the middle boundary part 52 to be detachably and elastically coupled to the abutment 51 , and a technology that takes an impression by covering an impression material of synthetic resin having fluidity over natural teeth adjacent to an implant treatment portion, which are substantially the same as the impression coping for implant treatments described in Embodiment 2 of the present invention so that the detailed descriptions on the structures and operations therefor will be omitted.
A screw opening 51a corresponding to a screw is formed in the abutment 51 in order that artificial teeth molded by the impression material can be fixed to the abutment 51 by the screw(not shown).
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
As described above, the present invention takes an auxiliary coping in a state fixed to an impression material upon taking a teeth impression, manufactures a prosthetic device in the same as the shape of natural teeth, and enables precise treatments in a designated position, and can enhance esthetic feelings in harmony of height and angle with adjacent natural teeth. Although the preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that the present invention should not be limited to the described preferred embodiment, but various changes and modifications can be made within the spirit and scope of the present invention as defined by the appended claims.
