Abstract

Ce procédé consiste à illuminer une face (15) de référence et une face (31) devant être mesurée avec une lumière blanche provenant d'une source (10) de lumière blanche de manière à produire une différence de chemin optique. Une UC (20) échantillonne les intensités des variations de la lumière d'interférence, résultant de la différence de chemin optique, dans une zone spécifique de la face (31), à des intervalles d'échantillonnage correspondant au produit M x Δ de Δ = (μC2 - μB2)/4μC et d'un entier naturel M, μC représentant la longueur d'onde centrale d'une bande de fréquence spécifique limitée par un filtre (11) passe-bande, et 2μB représentant la largeur de bande de la longueur d'onde. Dans le cas d'une distribution spectrale symétrique par rapport au nombre kC d'ondes centrales de la bande de fréquence spécifique, une fonction caractéristique présentant une position maximale identique à la position maximale de la lumière d'interférence est inférée. On mesure la forme irrégulière de la face (31) en déterminant la hauteur de la position maximale de cette fonction caractéristique.
