D'autre part, afin d'assurer une bonne fiabilité des informations, les bornes sont pourvues d'un système d'interrogation à fréquences régulières ou variables de chaque composant du réseau afin de s'assurer de sa présence et de son état de fonctionnement pour remplir le rôle qui lui est assigné.
