Description

Appareil pour le traitement d'un organisme vivant par lumière colorée Apparatus for the treatment of a living organism by colored light
The present invention relates to the field of treatment of a living organism - human or animal body - by its exposure to radiation lying in the visible spectrum at determined wavelengths. They relate to the device ensuring this exposure.
The exposure of an area of a living organism such as the human or animal body to colored light for a determined time produces biological or psychic effects which have been recognized. For example in the field of cosmetics in particular, radiation penetrates into the deep layers of the skin and is capable of having an effect on its dryness. It is considered that the combination of a specific color and a determined exposure time ensures the effectiveness of the therapy. After exposure, the irradiated area is left in the dark for a certain time.
The object of the invention is the production of an apparatus allowing the implementation of radiation application protocols.
The apparatus according to the invention for the treatment of a living organism in particular the human body, by application of colored light, is characterized in that it comprises a support, a colored light source mounted on the support , a light emission stylus, a light guide made up of at least one optical fiber between the light source and the stylus, a movable arm secured to the support on which the stylus is fixed.
The arm is movable between a retracted position near the support and a stretched position remote from the support and is mounted telescopically.
Thanks to the invention, it is possible to implement a treatment protocol with high precision of application of the radiation.
According to another characteristic, the light guide forms a loop around a pulley slidably mounted in a rail secured to the support. In particular the rail being inclined relative to the horizontal on at least a portion of its length, the pulley is driven by its own weight to keep the light guide in the stretched state.
According to another characteristic, the light source consists of a white light lamp and a color filter means. The latter consists of a support member on which are mounted several filters corresponding to the different treatment colors, said support member being driven by a motor.
The motor drive makes it possible to carry out exposure sequences for each color with great precision.
According to another characteristic, the stylus includes a means of adjusting the width of the emitted light beam. This characteristic allows in combination with the articulation of the arm to carry out different treatments such as the exposure of acupuncture points or the eyeball.
According to another characteristic, the apparatus comprises means for controlling said motor as well as the lighting of the lamp.
On décrit ci-après un mode réalisation non limitatif de l'appareil, en s 'accompagnant des dessins annexés sur lesquelsA non-limiting embodiment of the device is described below, accompanied by the appended drawings in which
Figure 1 shows a general profile view of the device, Figure 2 shows a front view, Figure 3 shows the detail of the support carriage, Figure 4 shows a sectional view of a stylus.
As seen in Figure 1, the device comprises a support carriage 10, here covered with a cover, and mounted on two wheels which allow its movement on the ground. A double guide rail 20 is arranged vertically and fixed relative to the support carriage 10. This rail is curved; it preferably comprises a portion in an arc. A tray forming a control desk 30 is fixed to the top of the double rail. It includes a screen and the various control elements of the device.
The double rail 20 serves as a guide for a sliding arm 40 which is also curved; its length is substantially the same as that of the double rail. The arm can take any position between a retracted position and a position in extension like that of FIG. 1. The arm slides between the two slides which form the two rails whose spacing corresponds to its width. Preferably, the arm comprises at its lower end, on its two lateral faces, two rollers with horizontal axis of rotation. They roll along the raceways formed by the inner walls of the rails. The arm is guided in the upper part, inside the two bars of a collar 22 which transversely connects the two rails 20. This crosspiece is provided with a knob 24 whose tightening makes it possible to immobilize the sliding arm in the desired position.
A flexible light guide 50 connects a colored light source mounted on the support carriage 10 to a stylus 60. The light guide advantageously consists of an optical fiber or a bundle of optical fibers. The light guide follows the double rail 20 to its upper end. It goes around the top and goes back down to a pulley 26. It is engaged in a groove in the pulley from where it goes up to the top of the arm 30 where it is attached to a stylus. The top of the arm is arranged to hold the stylus in the downward facing position. Pliers are suitable; the stylus can be separated for manual use if necessary.
En raison de la course sensiblement verticale de celui-ci, le guide de lumière reste à l'état tendu quelle que soit l'extension du bras 30.The pulley is mounted on a plate, not visible in the figures, which is arranged so that it can slide freely between the two rails 20. The axis of rotation of the pulley is perpendicular to the plane of the plate. The weight of the crew made up of the pulley and the sliding plate is sufficient to keep the light guide in slight tension. Due to the substantially vertical travel of the latter, the light guide remains in the stretched state whatever the extension of the arm 30.
The support plate comprises a frame 11 in which a lamp 12 has been placed facing the lower end of the light guide 50 which is itself secured to the frame. The lamp can be halogen with integrated reflector and have a power of 100 W at 12 V. A disc-shaped rotor 14 includes the colored filters. The filters, when they are lit on one side by the lamp, are made so as to transmit a light beam to the optical fiber in a defined wavelength. Preferably, monochromatic filters are used, advantageously interference, with an accuracy of at least 2 nanometers compared to a reference wavelength. In one embodiment, 13 filters are provided, positioned in the order of the chromatic circle: yellow, green, blue, purple, red and orange. The rotor is disposed between the lamp 12 and the optical fiber. If necessary, a means of filtering UV and IR rays is added to avoid damage to the optical fiber. By rotation around its axis parallel to that of the light emitted by the lamp, the rotor presents the selected filter in front of the lamp. This rotor is driven and locked in angular position by an electric motor 15 supplied by a transformer 16. The motor allows a passage time from one filter to the other of less than one second. The supply of the lamp and that of the motor are controlled from a control unit 18. the assembly is preferably ventilated.
Le boîtier de commande est relié au pupitre de commande 30 qui comprend les organes de commutation et de visualisation des étapes des protocoles mis en œuvre. Il permet d'effectuer le choix de la couleur en commandant le moteur 15, le temps d'exposition et l'intensité de la lumière en agissant sur la lampe. Le fonctionnement peut se faire automatiquement par une programmation appropriée de protocoles préalablement définis. De tels protocoles portent sur les séquences d'expositions successives à des couleurs différentes, éventuellement l'intensité de la lumière, et la durée des expositions de chacune des couleurs. Un afficheur permet de sélectionner et suivre les opérations liées aux différents protocoles ;The control unit is connected to the control console 30 which includes the switching and display members of the stages of the protocols implemented. It makes it possible to make the choice of color by controlling the motor 15, the exposure time and the intensity of the light by acting on the lamp. Operation can be done automatically by appropriate programming of previously defined protocols. Such protocols relate to the sequences of successive exposures to different colors, possibly the intensity of the light, and the duration of the exposures of each of the colors. A display allows you to select and follow the operations related to the different protocols;
There is shown in Figure 4, a longitudinal sectional view of a stylus 60 for direct application of light. It comprises a sleeve 61 of generally cylindrical shape which forms at one end a means for guiding the optical fiber 50. The latter is guided as close as possible to the other end of the stylet which is open. It is fixed by an appropriate means. On this stylus, a means has been provided for adjusting the width of the light beam emitted. According to the embodiment shown, this means consists of a ring 63 which is mounted on a thinner part 64 of the sleeve so as to be able to slide along this part. A helical guide means allows a precise adjustment between a fully retracted position where the light beam is the widest, and a fully extended position where the light beam is the narrowest. Figure 4 shows the ring 63 fully extended. The beam is the narrowest. Advantageously, the interior of the cavity of the ring is coated with black. For other applications, it is not necessary to adjust the width of the beam. In this case, the sliding ring is replaced by a fixed ring.
The operation of the device is as follows. The person to be treated is placed in a sitting or lying position. We approach the person's device and adjust the arm so that the light beam leaving the stylus is directed towards the part of the body to be illuminated.
For example, a protocol is selected on the control console. After the exposure sequence, the area illuminated in the dark is maintained for a defined time.
For example for the application on acupuncture points or on the ear, one can choose a cycle composed of a series of sequences of exposure to lights: orange, red, green for 15 seconds each, followed by a period of 15 seconds without lighting. In this example, a cycle lasts 8 minutes. Other cycles are of course conceivable.
