Abstract

A personal table (10) including a table top (12) supported by a support assembly (14) is disclosed. The table top (12) is preferably constructed from blow-molded plastic and the support assembly (14) preferably includes a first leg (30a) and a second leg (30b) that are pivotally connected (46). The legs desirably have a generally X-shaped configuration when the legs are placed in an upright position and the legs can be collapsed into a storage position. Each of the legs may include a lower portion, a body portion (34a, 34b) and an upper portion (36a, 36b) that is preferably selectively connected to the table top (12). The legs, for example, can be connected to the table top by inserting the upper portions of the legs into leg receiving recess (50). Desirably, the table top includes a plurality of leg receiving recesses and the legs be selectively attached to the leg receiving recesses in order to vary the height of table.
