Abstract

The invention relates to a seating combination which comprises a table with a table top and at least one seating linked with the table. The aim of the invention is to increase the flexibility and cleanability of such a seating combination. For this purpose, the seating (10) is mounted on a floor-side frame (53) of the table (50) via a bracket (80) so as to be foldable so that the seating can be folded up in the direction of the center of the table top (51).

In the context of the present invention, a seat combination is understood to mean a unit comprising at least one table and at least one seat. These are connected to each other and thus form the seat combination. The term "table" is understood to mean a piece of furniture that has at least one plate on which e.g. Objects can be placed, and at least one support leg that carries the plate at a certain distance above the floor. In the case of a round table, this one leg can be designed, for example, as a column attached in the middle. However, several legs can also be provided, as is very often the case, for example, with rectangular tables.

Seat combinations are already known in which a table is connected to at least one seat, particularly in the camping area. These are jedoct. rigidly connected. Often seat combinations are also formed, in which both the table and the seat are firmly connected to the surface and are not directly connected to each other, but indirectly via the surface, although a rigid unit is nevertheless formed. Such fixed seat combinations are common, for example, in the area of outdoor seating in restaurants and catering facilities. Combinations of seats are also common in outdoor pools or along walking paths, as they are anti-theft due to their bulkiness compared to separate tables and seating.

A disadvantage of the seats known in the prior art, however, is that these seats are comparatively susceptible to being soaked after rain. The water remains on the seat and also on the table, so that it takes a long time before they dry again. This is also disadvantageous because the rotting of the seat combination takes place comparatively quickly. The object of the present invention is therefore to create a seat combination in which the seat and table are connected to one another, but which have a certain flexibility. Furthermore, a seat combination is to be provided that does not hinder the cleaning activity on the surrounding floor.

This object is achieved by a seat combination according to claim 1. Advantageous refinements are the subject of the dependent claims.

The seat combination according to the invention has a table with at least one seat, the seat and the table being connected to one another. According to the invention, it is provided that the at least one seat is connected to a base frame of the table via a cantilever arm, this connection taking place in such a way that the seat can be folded towards the center of the table. In other words, the seat can be folded up, whereby the area underneath it is released for cleaning activities, for example. The base frame of the table can be, for example, an enlarged foot of a table leg. This is particularly advantageous if the table has only one leg, for example in the form of a column. The widened foot not only ensures the stability of the table, but also offers a storage option for the cantilever arm of the seat. However, the bottom frame can also be cross struts between adjacent table legs. The cantilever arm can also be hingedly attached to this. A cantilever arm is understood to mean a support element which connects the table and the seat with one another and which ensures a certain spacing of the seat from the table. The seat, which is located on the extension arm, is folded up with this. The cantilever arm is thus foldably connected to the bottom frame of the table. By folding up the seat and the extension arm, the seat is folded towards the center of the table. The center of the table is understood in particular to mean the center of the table top, the term center depending on the geometric shape of the table top referring both to the actual center of the table top, for example in the case of a round table, and to a central axis of the table. The central axis can be both a longitudinal axis of the table top and its transverse axis.

The seat combination according to the invention can in particular be designed in such a way that the folded-up seat remains in this position in the area of the center of the table without any fastening means or catches. However, fastening means can also be provided, for example on the table, with which the seat can be locked in the folded-up position. An advantage of the seat combination according to the invention, as stated above, is that the cleaning work of the floor in the area of the seat combination is made considerably easier. It can now be cleaned up to the table without having to move the seat combination. Furthermore, it is advantageous that the seat, when folded up, is to a certain extent protected from the weather and that moisture can run off, so that the seat will dry quickly. In addition, the folded up seating also protects the table from the weather. Overall, the durability of the seat combination according to the invention is thus guaranteed over a longer period of time than with the seat combinations known in the prior art. This is particularly important if a rotting material such as wood is selected as the material for the seat combination.

1 and 2 show a seat combination 1 according to the invention in two different states. The side view of Fig. 1 shows the seat combination 1 in a state in which people can sit on it. 2 shows a side view of the seat combination 1, in which the seat 10 is folded up. In the embodiment of Fig.l two seats 10 are shown. However, almost any number can be arranged around the table 50, which in the exemplary embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2 has a round table top. In particular, six, eight or ten of such seats 10 can be arranged, although significantly more seats can also be arranged around a large table 50. The seat 10 is foldably connected to the table 50, indicated by the arrow 2. The table 50 has a table top 51. Furthermore, the table 50 has a support or table leg 52, which has a columnar shape in FIGS. 1 and 2 and forms the center of the table top 51. Furthermore, the table 50 has a base-side frame 53 which has the shape of a foot in FIGS. 1 and 2. The foot of the table 50 is widened in comparison to the table leg 52 and carries at least one joint 81, by means of which the cantilever arm 80 and thus the seat 10 are hingedly connected to the bottom frame 53 and the table 50. To facilitate the flip-up movement, a spring, in particular a leg spring, can be integrated in the joint 81. A container 55, in particular a waste container or ashtray, but also a light source, a loudspeaker or an associated sound reflector (see FIG. 9) can be integrated into an area 54 of the table leg 52 protruding beyond the tabletop 51.

The seat 10 is attached to the extension arm 80. The seat 10 of the embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2 preferably forms a ball in the closed state. This ball can be opened, which is indicated by the arrow 4. A part of the spherical seat 10, which is referred to as the lower part 11 can be folded down until the horizontal is reached. The other part of the seat 10, which is referred to as the backrest 12, remains in the vertical. The backrest 12 can also have a cushion 13 in order to increase the seating comfort. The folding process of the lower part 11 is ensured by means of a joint 14, whereby a spring can also be provided in order to automatically close the seat. A handle 15 can be provided to facilitate the folding-down process of the lower part 11. The seat surface 16 of the seat 10 is in the seating position on the upper side of the lower part 10.

As can be seen from FIG. 2, the seat combination 1 is designed in such a way that the folded-up seats 10 can remain in their folded-up position without fastening devices. In their final state after the folding process, which has not yet been fully reached in FIG. 2, they will be supported in particular on the table top 51 and / or the upper part 54 of the table leg 52. The cantilever arm 80 preferably has a support 82 with which the cantilever arm 80 and thus also the seat 10 are supported on the base 90. The cantilever arm 80 preferably has an angled shape. First, it runs parallel to the ground and then rises almost vertically in the area under the seat 10. The turning area between the flat and rising area of the cantilever arm 80 can be rounded, as in the exemplary embodiments of FIGS. 1, 2 and 6-9. The seat 210 forms a shell shape in a modification to the embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2 in the closed state. The seat 210 consists of a backrest 212 and a lower part 211. The lower part 211 can be folded down, which facilitates a handle 215, according to the embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2, and then releases the seat surface 216 for use. The backrest 212 remains in place and can house a cushion 213 inside. It can be seen from the left half of FIG. 6 that a schematically indicated person 95 can take a seat on the seat 210, sitting on the seat 216 and the cushion 213 is designed so that an ergonomic sitting position is achieved. The lower part 211 of the seat 210 folds down with the aid of a joint 214. The seat combination 200 is also designed to be adjustable in that the extension arm 280 is adjustable both in height, represented by arrow 5, and in length, represented by arrow 6. Due to the height adjustability, the distance between the seat 210 and the base 90 can be changed so that, for example, children can easily reach the table top 210. The length of the cantilever arm 280 regulates the distance between the seat 210 and the table 250. While the seat 210 is not in use, shown on the right in FIG. 6, the extension arm 280 can be pushed together to such an extent that the seat 210 is arranged comparatively close to the table 250. The length adjustability and thus the distance adjustment proves to be particularly advantageous in order to adjust the distance between seat 210 and table 250 for people 95 of different sizes and different diameters. Both the height adjustability and the length adjustability is ensured in that the extension arm 280 consists of at least two or, as in the exemplary embodiment in FIG. 6, three components which are displaceably mounted one inside the other. The cantilever arm 280 can have a type of sleeve 283 which serves as a guide for two rails 285 which can be telescopically displaced in the sleeve 283 and whose dimensions are adapted accordingly. In the exemplary embodiment in FIG. 6, the lower rail 285 is connected to the bottom frame 253 and the upper rail 285 is connected to the seat 210. The sleeve 283 thus serves to accommodate both rails 285. A favorable support of the extension arm 280 is ensured by the support 282 , whereby the stability is also improved and it is avoided that excessive forces act on the rail 285 and thus on the joint 281. The seat 210 of the seat combination 200 can also be folded towards the center of the table, similar to the embodiment in FIGS. 1 and 2. FIG. 7 shows an exemplary embodiment of a seat combination 300 which also has a seat 310 and a table 350 which are connected to one another via the extension arm 380. 1 and 2 in the closed state, the seat 310 is a ball which consists of a backrest 312 and a lower part 311, again similar components being provided with a preceding number "3". The lower part 311 can be folded down at the joint 314, which facilitates a handle 315, and then releases the seat surface 316 for use. The cantilever arm 380 has a support 382 and is foldably mounted on the base-side frame 353, in the exemplary embodiment of FIG. 7, a support foot via the joint 381. The bottom frame 353 is connected to the table leg 352 of the table 350. The table 350 also has a table top 351. The seat combination 300 has a sun or umbrella 370. This has a screen 371 which is arranged on a stand 372. The screen 371 can be opened and closed, as indicated by the arrow 7.
