An interface device (800) and a method for interfacing a mobile telephone (200) to a plurality of fixed telephones (300) for enabling a user to originate a call at one of said fixed telephones (300) either to a recipient located in the mobile communication network using a first interface unit (10) for interfacing the mobile telephone (200) or to a recipient in the public switched telephone network (PSTN) using a fixed line connection to the PSTN. The interface device unit (10) comprises a ring detector (1) for detecting incoming calls at the mobile telephone (200), an interchangeable unit (4) for adapting the size to the mobile telephone (200) and a battery charge circuit (2) for charging the mobile telephone (200). The interface unit (80) for interfacing the plurality of fixed telephones (300) comprising a ring generator (81), an on hook / off hook detector (82), a conditioner for line and busy tones (83), and a DTMF tone decoder (84). The interface device further includes an audio switching unit (30) and a controlling unit (20) that controls the interface device (800). The controlling unit (20) comprises a microprocessor (21), a memory storing the program (22), a watchodog timer (50), a line tone generator (24) and a busy tone generator (23).

Description

INTERFACE DEVICE BETWEEN MOBILE PHONE LINE AND FIXED TELEPHONE RECEIVER CONNECTED OR NOT TO A FIXED TELEPHONE LINE AND PROCESS OF FUNCTIONING FIELD OF INVENTION This invention concerns an interface device between phone line and fixed telephone receiver connected or not to a fixed telephone line and process of functioning. More specifically, concerns an interface device which includes a cell phone line and fixed telephone receivers connected or not to a fixed telephone line aiming to allow to make a phone call through cell phone line or through fixed line, if there is one, from any local fixed telephone receiver. The device adds also the functions of automation, allowing the capable caller to control electronic devices, or of illumination in the local where the interface device is installed. FUNDAMENTALS OF THE INVENTION Telecommunication service is extremely spread and is fundamental to society development. Even though mobile phone service presents points or areas of shadow, that is, failures in signal reception that makes it difficult to phone call receiving or execution, such system presents a number of advantages in relation to the fixed telephone system, mainly concerning to equipment portability. With the evolution in mobile phone communication and the necessity in extending the service to a wider users' area, market made available pre-paid mobile phone system. In such service model, the user acquires credits and has the service authorized in the mobile phone company by purchasing a phone card in authorized shops, which credits equivalent value when it is activated by the user through a phone call, that is, the customer pays in advance for mobile phone service. Comparatively, fundamental differences between mobile phone system and fixed telephone system are the range and the price, allowing a considerable number of people to have access to telecommunication services paying more accessible taxes. The technical state describe technologies that use hybrid devices that operates with conventional fixed telephone lines and mobile phone lines. Such systems tend to facilitate users' life that will have a unique telephone number and a unique telephone bill no matter they are using fixed or mobile telephone. Optionally, the phone call can be made by Internet, decreasing expenses with mobile phone or even it can be used pre-paid mobile phones avoiding monthly tax services payment. Patent EP0740482 claims for a system of management of telephone calls that allows transfer phone calls from including mobile phones. Patent WO02093883 comprises an electronic system, which allows the connection of a group of fixed telephone to a mobile phone and vice-versa. Patent FR2772540 allows integration of a system of fixed telephone and mobile phone communication, which consists of transmitting to fixed telephone phone calls made to mobile phone. Patent FR2784847 claims a microprocessor, which allows integration of a mobile phone to a fixed telephone line or vice-versa. Patent GB2365266 presents an adaptation device of a fixed telephone line, which makes it possible to connect a mobile phone and automatically transfer the mobile phone call to affixed telephone line besides recharge the mobile phone battery. Patent GB2370944 presents a control device to transmit a mobile phone received phone calls to a fixed telephone network, which may present a plurality of extension lines. When a mobile phone receives a call control device detects the main telephone and its extension lines and its individual usage status. Therefore, technical literature presents devices that allow adaptation of a mobile phone line to fixed telephone receiver, or, in some cases, the subsistance of a mobile phone line with a fixed telephone line making the commutation of both lines in order to connect the whole installation to only one of them each time. Nevertheless, open literature do not describes nor suggests a interface device between mobile phone line and fixed telephone receiver, connected or not to a fixed telephone line that adapts a mobile phone line to fixed telephone receivers, and additionally, it makes the remote control of household appliances via mobile phone or conventional connection, such device being described and claimed in the present request.
SUMMARY In a general way, the present invention concerns to an interface device between phone line and fixed telephone receiver connected or not to a fixed telephone line and process of functioning. It is a feature of this invention the possibility of, from any local fixed receiver, being possible to make a phone call through either mobile phone line or fixed line, if it exists. It is a feature of this invention the usage of pre-paid mobile phone system as a substitute of fixed conventional line, avoiding payment of a minimal monthly tax. It is an additional feature the elimination of difficulties in signal receiving in mobile phone (shadow area) allowing the mobile phone to be connected in a place where the signal is possible. Another feature is the possibility qf the user to have a single number with portability to every covered area. It is also a feature of this invention the possibility of selecting the service to be used in the moment of usage before typing a code, which operates the usage of mobile phone or fixed telephone system. It is additional feature the possibility of connecting data between mobile phone and the interface device through short wave radio frequency channel such as Bluetooth technology or similar. This invention allows optional usage of wireless telephone receivers (handsets) directly connected via radio frequency to the interface device adding a higher convenience to the usage of fixed and mobile phone lines. This invention allows also remote control of electrical and electronic device by the authorized caller in the local. Finally, the interface device makes the function of battery charge of a mobile phone, being said interface device compatible with several models of mobile phones presented in the market before the usage of an interchangeable adapter module. For this modality, interface device (800) is connected to a fixed telephone line being fixed receivers (300) in typical previous installation connected to an external fixed line (600). If it is used a mobile phone equipped with a short wave audio link such as Bluetooth technology or similar the connection with the interface (800) happens by the simple approximation between mobile phone (200) and this interface (800) without the necessity of physical contact. Functions operate according to what was described with exception of mobile phone receiver battery charge that cannot happen without contact. As it is presented in Figure 4 in case of mobile phone ring (200) it is connected the distinct ring generator for fixed receivers being connected audio in fixed receivers (300) when answered the call. In case of fixed line ring (600) interface device (800) let fixed receivers ring through direct connection and keeps the direct connection when answered the call. Picking the phone up the user will hear the fixed line tone. Being another fixed telephone (300) in conversation through mobile line (200) this call will be heard. To make a phone call through fixed line (600) one has just to pick up the receiver and dial. To make a phone call through mobile phone (200) it is necessary start dialing by # button to inform the interface device (800) that it is wanted the mobile phone line (200) and to end dialing with # button, being dialed number sent to mobile phone (200) connected to interface device. When it is perceived all the telephone receivers are hanged up, the interface device (800) inform the mobile phone (200) the end of the call using a mobile phone line. If there is a call in hold the interface device (800) activates call ring in the fixed telephones (300). If one of the lines is busy and the other line rings the interface device(80O) activates a sound signal through tone generator in the busy line and waits the # button dialing to commute one line for the other by placing the previous one in hold. If it happens a simultaneous ring of both lines, the first perceived ring by the interface device loop (800) will be treated until it is answered or time-out.

INTERFACE DEVICE BETWEEN MOBILE PHONE LINE AND FIXED TELEPHONE RECEIVERS NOT CONNECTED TO A FIXED TELEPHONE LINE that includes mobile phone receivers (200) and fixed receivers (300) characterized by: a) an interface device with mobile phone (10) which comprises a mobile phone ring detector (1 ), an interchangeable module for adaptation to mobile phone (4) and a battery charge circuit of a mobile phone (2); b) a microcontroller (20) that coordinates the interface device with mobile receiver (10) and the inlerface device with the fixed receivers (80), said microcontroller (20) connected to a source (60) that includes a central control unit (21), a control for configuration programming (22), a line tone generator (24), a busy line sound generator (23) and a guard circuit like "watchdog timer" (50); c) an interface with fixed receivers (80) that includes a telephone ring generator (81 ), an out-of-the-hook receiver detector (82), a conditioner of line tone audio signal (83) and of busy line and a DTMF tone decoder (84); d) audio locked deriver (30) commanded by central control unit (21) of microcontroller (20).
2. INTERFACE DEVICE BETWEEN MOBILE PHONE LINE AND FIXED TELEPHONE RECEIVERS NOT CONNECTED TO A FIXED TELEPHONE LINE according to claim 1 characterized by interface device with mobile phone receiver (10) presents an antenna circuit and treatment of signal for mobile phone antenna (3).
3. INTERFACE DEVICE BETWEEN MOBILE PHONE LINE AND FIXED TELEPHONE RECEIVERS NOT CONNECTED TO A FIXED TELEPHONE LINE according to claim 1 characterized by presenting an audio conditioner circuit.

PROCESS OF FUNCTIONING OF INTERFACE DEVICE BETWEEN MOBILE PHONE LINE AND FIXED TELEPHONE RECEIVERS NOT CONNECTED TO A FIXED TELEPHONE LINE that includes mobile phone receivers (200) and fixed receivers (300) according to claim 1 to 3 characterized for comprising: a) when the mobile phone rings (200) it is activated the telephone ring generator (81 ) for fixed receivers; b) when the phone call is answe;3d the audio is connected to fixed receivers (300); c) when the phone is taken out of the hook, the system activates dialing tone generator in fixed receivers, holds a dialing and # button is activated at the end; d) the system sends dialing to the mobile phone (200); e) the system connects audio in fixed receivers (300); f) when returning hanging up all fixed receivers, the system disconnects the audio in fixed receivers (300) and informs the end of the call for the mobile phone (200).

INTERFACE DEVICE BETWEEN l MOBILE PHONE LINE AND FIXED TELEPHONE RECEIVERS NOT CONNECTED TO A FIXED TELEPHONE LINE that includes mobile phone receivers (200) and fixed receivers (300) said interface device (800) connected to a fixed telephone lint; characterized for comprising: a) microcontroller (20) that includes a central control unit (21) that generates line tone (24) and busy line tone (23) and adaptation to required configuration programming (22) and a circuit like "watchdog timer" (50). b) interface with mobile phone receiver (10); c) interface with telephone line (90) with DTMF generator (91 ) and telephone ring detector (92); d) a locked deriver (110) commanded by central control unit (21) internal to microprocessor (20); e) interface with fixed receivers (80) that include a telephone ring generator (81 ), detector of out , of the hook receivers (82), conditioner of audio signal of line tone and busy line (83), a DTMF tone decoder (84).

PROCESS OF FUNCTIONING OF INTERFACE DEVICE BETWEEN MOBILE PHONE LINE AND FIXED TELEPHONE RECEIVERS NOT CONNECTED TO A FIXED TELEPHONE LINE that includes mobile phone receivers (200) and fixed receivers (300) said interface device (800) connected to a fixed telephone line according to claim 5 characterized for comprising the stages: a) when the mobile phone rings (200) it is activated the distinct telephone ring generator for fixed receivers; b) when the phone call is answered the audio is connected to fixed receivers (300); c) by taking the phone out of the hook the user will hear the fixed line; d) to make a phone call through the fixed line (600) it is necessary to take the fixed telephone receiver out of the hook and dial; e) to make phone calls through mobile phone (200) it is necessary to start dialing through # button to inform to the interface device (800) that it is wanted the mobile phone (200) and to end dialing through # button being the dialed number sent to mobile phone (200)connected to the interface device (800); f) when it is perceived all fixed telephone receivers are hanged up, the interface device (800) informs to the mobile phone (200) the end of the call by using the mobile phone line; g) in cases of a holding call the interface device (800) activates the calling tone in fixed receivers (300); h) if one of the lines is busy and the other line rings, the interface device(800) activates a sound signal through busy line tone generator and waits for the dial of # button to commute a line through the other by putting the previous one in hold; i) if a simultaneous ring happens in both lines, the first ring received by interface device loop (800) will be treated until answering or time-out.

INTERFACE DEVICE BETWEEN MOBILE PHONE LINE AND FIXED TELEPHONE RECEIVERS NOT CONNECTED TO A FIXED TELEPHONE LINE according to claims 1 and 5 characterized for the fact that the interface connection (800) happens by the approximation between mobile phone receiver equipped with short wave radio link (200) and the said interface (800).
8. INTERFACE DEVICE BETWEEN MOBILE PHONE LINE AND FIXED TELEPHONE RECEIVERS NOT CONNECTED TO A FIXED TELEPHONE LINE that includes an automation module (120) to receive and decode signals sent by telephone receivers involved in the process (200 and 300) and act in appliances feeding (400)according to claims 1 and 5, characterized by the fact the commands are coded in DTMF audio and transmitted by any of the said forms of said parallelism directly to adaptor module of the interface module (800) being the DTMF tones sent through mobile or fixed phone line and received in the automation modules (120).
