Abstract

Electronic posture correcting device which is worn the same way you would wear backpack. The main body of the mechanism has various adjustable elasticized straps leading from it which enable maximum adjustment to each individual. The design actually motivates, if used correctly, muscle tissue development. Our posture corrector has safety features which allow long, strenuous use with out the unit falling to pieces. The variable musical signal is ideal for children and when discretion is needed, the quiet vibrating signal comes in very useful.

Description

ADVANCED POSTURECORRECTOR
The subject of the design is an electronic posture corrector, whose reminder is a musical tune or vibration which indicates a correct posture position thus adopting a habit of correct posture.
Other versions of similar patents simply bind the back in a straight position with the aid of elastic straps. However, these do not help muscle tissue growth development.
The use of such designs leads to greater damage of posture and a shrinkage of spine muscle which provokes hunching.
A known posture corrector design (Polish Patent No: 50572) utilizing various straps, joined to a membrane alert switch, does not lie close enough to the back which causes the signal to sound on its own accord. The signal activating pressure is somewhat greater than needed, giving much less sensitivity.
Yet another posture corrector (Polish Patent No: 55234) has an interior sliding part, linked with parallel springs, connected to the inside of its body.
The body consists of a sounder and batteries. This unit's structural connection of the sliding part can be quite short lived. The moment greater pressure is applied, the sliding mart ejects from the body and the springs may rip apart.
Our "Posture Correcting" design is based on a miniature rook sack "2" incorporating a sliding mechanism which activates a musical sounder or vibrating alert. The gentle musical/vibrating reminder constantly indicates the importance of correct posture. Once in a straight posture, the "slider" is moved back to its original position by the springs and the sounder/vibration turns off.
In order to enable a discreet alert, it is possible to turn off the musical sounder, leaving only the vibration thus not heard by the surrounding public.
If greater stretching should occur, the safety hooks "7" unable the slider to dislodge. As the elastic straps allow stretching, the springs do not rip out of the main body.
A carefully fitted printed circuit board (PCB), in between the two internal working hooks, disables them from being dislodging.
This modern slim line unit is very attractive, especially for young children as the musical tune can be varied. The silent vibrating signal is more suitable for adults as it gives more discretion.

Claims

The electronic Posture Corrector is based on a miniature rook sack'T attached to elastic straps "2" with the unique difference of: a sounder module "3" alerting the user with a melody or vibration in order to maintain correct posture. The sounder module is inside the plastic body of a shaped and profiled case.
The electronic Posture Corrector as stated in 1 , has the unique difference of, straps made from an elasticized material.
The electronic Posture Corrector as stated in 1 also has the unique difference of variable adjusting straps with the aid of a plastic adjustor "4" and a leather holder "5".
Another unique difference of the electronic Posture Corrector complying with 1 , is that the sounder is built as a whole element and consists of: ( a printed circuit board, an electronic sounder, a switch and two batteries).
