レンズ2を折り畳んでプランジャー4により押圧して眼内へ放出できるとともに、折り畳んだレンズ2を鑷子15により取り出し可能とした眼内レンズ挿入器具1を提供することを課題とする。折り畳み可能な眼内レンズ2を眼内に挿入するための眼内レンズ挿入器具1であって、前記眼内レンズ2を通過させて眼内に導く筒状の本体3と、前記眼内レンズ2を押圧して眼内に放出するプランジャー4を備え、レンズ設置部5に設けられる折り畳み部材8により眼内レンズ2を折り畳む。また、レンズ設置部5に開閉蓋12を設け、折り畳んだ後の眼内レンズ2を鑷子15により把持できるようにする。

[0001] 本発明は、白内障手術により摘出した水晶体の代わりに、眼球内に眼内レンズを挿 入するための眼内レンズ挿入器具に関するものであり、詳しくは折り畳んだ後の眼内 レンズを鑷子により把持して眼内に挿入することも可能な眼内レンズ挿入器具に関す る。
背景技術
[0002] 白内障手術においては、超音波乳化吸引によって混濁した水晶体を除去し、その 水晶体除去後の眼内へ人工眼内レンズを埋植する方法が広く行なわれている。埋植 される眼内レンズには、光学部がポリメチルメタタリレート(PMMA)などの硬質材料 力 なる硬質眼内レンズと、シリコーンエラストマ一、軟質アクリル、ハイド口ゲルなど の柔らかい材料力もなる軟質眼内レンズがある。硬質眼内レンズを用いる場合には、 角膜、あるいは強膜に光学部の径とほぼ同じか、それよりやや大きな幅の切開創から 眼内レンズを挿入する必要がある。一方、軟質眼内レンズを用いる場合には、光学 部を折り畳むことにより更に小さな切開創から眼内レンズを眼球内に挿入することが 可能となる。そして、小さな切開創により手術を行なうことで手術後の角膜乱視ゃ感 染症の危険性を回避することができる。力かる事情力 近年においては、軟質眼内レ ンズが好んで用いられる傾向にある。
[0003] 軟質眼内レンズを眼内に挿入する方法には、鑷子により折り畳んだ眼内レンズをそ のまま直接眼内に挿入する方法の他に、インジェクターと呼ばれる専用の挿入器具 を用いる方法がある。専用のインジェクターを使用することにより、鑷子を用いて眼内 レンズを折り畳むよりも小さく折り畳むことができる。その結果、 3mm以下の切開創口 から眼内レンズ (以下、単にレンズともいう。)を眼内へ挿入することも可能となってい る。
[0004] さらに、最近ではレンズの取扱時の細菌による汚染や、レンズの取扱時に起こり得 る操作ミスの危険性を排除するために、レンズが予めインジェクター内にセットされて
いるプリセット型のインジェクターも発表されている。そして、プリセット型インジェクタ 一においては、出荷時のレンズ固定状態力 使用時のレンズ移動状態に移行するた めに、光学部に応力をかけな 、状態でインジェクター内部にレンズを保持する機構と 、押し出し機構により押し出し可能な位置に移動させるためのレンズ移動機構を有す るものがある(例えば、特許文献 1および 2参照)。
[0005] しかし、前記特許文献に開示されたプリセット型インジェクターにおいては、使用時 に固定状態力 使用可能位置へレンズを移動させなければならず、移動操作に伴う 不具合の危険性を排除することはできない。また、使用可能位置へレンズを移動し、 光学部がほとんど変形して 、な 、状態力も押し始めると!、う構造を有して 、るため、 押し出し機構に要する移動距離が長くなる。それに伴って起こる不具合の可能性が 高くなり、インジェクター全体の長さも長くなるなど構造上の制限が生じる。そのため、 眼内レンズをレンズ設置部で折り畳み、ある程度の変形を行なってから眼内への移 動を開始する機構を設けることにより、レンズの筒内における移動距離を短くすること が可能となり、結果として移動行程中における事故の低減や、インジェクター全体の 長さを小さくすることにより取扱性も向上する。このような事情を考慮して可撓性を有 する眼内レンズを小さい断面形状にすべぐ横方向に圧縮するための機構を備えて V、ることを特徴とした眼内レンズ挿入器具が開示されて 、る(例えば、特許文献 3参 照)。

発明の開示
発明が解決しょうとする課題
[0006] しかし、上記特許文献 3に開示された発明にお 、ては、眼内レンズが圧縮された状 態力も眼内にて開放される際、眼内を損傷させないために眼内レンズの対向する側 端部を概ね平面関係に維持するための保持器を備えていることを一つの特徴として いる。そのような形状にした場合、レンズ設置部および筒部の細い部分に眼内レンズ が押し込まれると、レンズに非常に高い負荷がかかり、そのためにレンズが損傷する
可能性がある。また、筒部にレンズが完全に包含されるため、いったん挿入器具内で 変形させたレンズを変形後に取り出すことは不可能であった。
[0007] 一方、眼内レンズを眼内に挿入する手術においては、例えばレンズの逢着が必要 となった場合や、術者が鑷子を使用した挿入方法を好む場合など、何らかの理由に より鑷子を用いて眼内レンズを眼内に挿入する必要が生じる場合がある。その際、い つたんインジェクター内にセットされたレンズをインジェクター内力も取り出し、その後 、適切な方法でレンズを折り畳み、鑷子にて眼内へ挿入するという手段を経ること〖こ なる。しかし、そのような多段階の操作を含むことで眼内レンズが異物や細菌によって 汚染されるなどの危険性は増大し、取扱のミスによる落下、レンズ破損などの可能性 も高くなる。特に、プリセット型のインジェクターにおいては、レンズがインジェクター内 にセットされた状態で出荷される力 現在市販されているプリセット型インジェクターに おいては、レンズを鑷子にて取り出すことを意図しているものは無ぐインジェクターを 破壊する以外に眼内レンズを安全に取り出す機構を有して 、るものはな 、。
[0008] 力かる事情から、手術方法に応じて二通りの使用方法が可能となる眼内レンズの挿 入器具の実現が望まれている。本発明は、眼内レンズが予めインジェクター内にセッ トされているプリセット型インジェクターにおいて、レンズ設置部にセットしたレンズを 簡単な操作により折り畳むことができる機能を有している。そして、インジェクターによ り眼内に挿入する場合には、眼内レンズをレンズ設置部で折り畳んだ後、そのままプ ランジャーにより押出して眼内へ挿入でき、また、鑷子によりレンズを把持して眼内へ 挿入する場合には、レンズの折り畳みの前または後にレンズ設置部の上部の壁もしく はその一部に設けた開閉機構によりレンズ設置部を開放し、折り畳んだレンズを折り 畳んだ状態で鑷子にて取り出すことが可能な眼内レンズ挿入器具を提供することを 目的とする。したがって、本発明はレンズが予めセットされた状態で出荷されるプリセ ット型インジェクターにもっとも適して 、る。
[0009] また、レンズとインジェクターとが別々の包装で供給されるようなインジェクターにも 適用することができ、その場合、インジェクターを使用して挿入することも出来るが、レ ンズをセットした後であっても、緊急な手術の要求に応じて鑷子による挿入術に切り 替えることが可能である。
課題を解決するための手段

発明を実施するための最良の形態
[0026] 以下、本発明を実施するための形態について図面を参照しながら説明する。図 1〜 図 3は、本発明に係る眼内レンズ挿入器具の第 1実施例を示すものであり、図 1は開 閉蓋が開かれ、かつノズルキャップが装着された状態を示す図面である。この眼内レ
ンズ挿入器具 1は、折り畳み可能な可撓性を有する眼内レンズ 2を眼内に挿入するた めの眼内レンズ挿入器具 1であって、前記眼内レンズ 2を通過させて眼内に導く筒状 の本体 3と、前記眼内レンズ 2を押圧して眼内に放出するプランジャー 4を備え、前記 本体 3に設けたレンズ設置部 5において眼内レンズ 2を折り畳む折り畳み部材 8を設 けるともに、前記レンズ設置部 5において眼内レンズ 2を取り出し可能としたものであ る。
[0027] 以下、具体的に説明する。筒状の本体 3はハンドピースとも呼称され、筒状の本体 3 の途中にレンズ設置部 5が設けられている。そして、筒状の先端部 6の内径寸法は細 く絞られており、その先端部 6を切開創から眼内へ挿入して眼内レンズ 2を移植できる ようにされている。また、筒状の本体 3の術者側には把持部 7が設けられるとともに、 筒状の本体 3の内部には眼内レンズ 2を押圧するためのプランジャー 4が摺動自在に 装着されている。また、レンズ設置部 5にはレンズ 2を折り畳むための折り畳み部材 8 力 レンズ設置部 5上で平行移動可能なようにプランジャー軸 4aに対し横方向力 装 着されている。レンズ 2を設置する際には、この折り畳み部材 8を横外方向に引き出し てレンズ 2を設置する。折り畳み部材 8を横外方向いつぱいに引き出すと、レンズ設 置部 5にはレンズ光学部 2aの外径寸法よりやや大きなスペースが確保され、レンズ 2 の光学部 2aに余分なストレスを与えることなくレンズ 2を設置することができる。
[0028] また、折り畳み部材 8が横外方向に引き出された状態では、プランジャー 4の誤操 作等によりレンズ 2が押出されないよう規制すベぐプランジャー先端部 4bが折り畳み 部材 8の側片に突き当たるように構成されている。なお、レンズ設置部 5にはレンズ 2 の移動を規制するための位置規制用突起 9が設けられている。
[0029] また、筒状の先端部 6は手術時において眼内へ挿入されるため、常に清浄な状態 に保持されている必要がある。そこで、先端部たるノズル 6を保護するためにノズルキ ヤップ 11が装着される。このノズルキャップ 11はノズル 6を保護するとともに、前記折り 畳み部材 8の押し込み動作を規制する機能をも兼ね備えている。すなわち、ノズルキ ヤップ 11を外した後でなければ、折り畳み部材 8を押し込むことができないようにされ ている。したがって、誤操作等により不適切なタイミングでレンズ 2が折り畳まれるのを 防止することができる。
[0030] 図 2はレンズ 2設置後、開閉蓋 12を閉じた状態を示すインジェクター 1の外観図であ る。レンズ設置部 5には本体 3と一体または別体の開閉蓋 12が設けられており、レン ズ 2設置後に開閉蓋 12を閉じることによりインジェクター 1を運搬等しても眼内レンズ 2 をレンズ設置部 5内に固定できるようにされている。また、開閉蓋 12には検査用の穴 1 3が設けられており、開閉蓋 12を閉じた状態であっても、レンズ設置部 5に設置された レンズ 2の状態を外部から容易に視認できるようにされて 、る。本実施例にお!、ては 、本体 3と一体の開閉蓋 12が合成樹脂材料力もなるヒンジ 14により開閉できるようにさ れている。
[0031] 図 3は、図 2の A— A矢視を示す断面図であり、(a)はレンズ 2がプリセットされた状 態を示し、(b)はレンズ 2が折り畳まれた後の状態を示している。また、(c)は折り畳ん だレンズ 2を鑷子 15により取り出せる状態にしたものを示している。 (a)に示すプリセッ ト状態においては、レンズ 2は自由移動できない程度に位置固定されている力 光学 部 2aに何ら余分な応力は付加されない。したがって、プリセット状態で長時間保管し てもレンズ 2の光学特性に悪影響を与えることがない。また、誤ってプランジャー 4を 操作したとしても、折り畳み部材 8を押し込まな ヽ限りプランジャー 4の動きは折り畳み 部材 8に衝突して規制されるので、 (a)に示すプリセット状態では眼内レンズ 2の押出 しを防止することができる。さらに、ノズルキャップ 11を外さない限り折り畳み部材 8を 押し込むこともできないので、誤って眼内レンズ 2を折り畳むことも防止できる。
[0032] 手術時、このインジェクター 1を使用して眼内レンズ 2を眼内へ挿入する場合、ノズ ルキャップ 11を取り外した後、折り畳み部材 8を押し込んでレンズ設置部 5に収納され た眼内レンズ 2を変形させて折り畳む。具体的には、(b)に示すように折り畳み部材 8 を押し込むと、眼内レンズ 2の光学部 2aは本体 3の内壁面と折り畳み部材 8により圧 縮され、略 U字形状に折り畳まれる。その後、先端部たるノズル 6を眼球の切開創口 力も眼球内に挿入し、プランジャー 4により眼内レンズ 2を押圧して眼内に移植するこ とができる。なお、折り畳み部材 8を押し込んで眼内レンズ 2を折り畳んだ位置におい ては、折り畳み部材 8に設けられたプランジャー通し穴 8dの中心がプランジャー軸 4a の軸心と一致するように構成されており、プランジャー 4を押すことにより眼内レンズ 2 を押圧して移動することができるようになって!/、る。
[0033] 一方、術者の都合等によりインジェクター 1を使用して直接眼内へレンズ 2を移植す るよりも、鑷子 15により眼内レンズ 2を把持して眼内に挿入する方が好ましい場合もあ る。そのような場合、(c)に示すように眼内レンズ 2を折り畳み部材 8によって折り畳ん だ後、開閉蓋 12を開いて折り畳んだ光学部 2aを鑷子 15により把持して眼内に挿入す ることができる。したがって、本発明によれば、インジェクター 1を使用して眼内レンズ 2を眼内に移植することができるとともに、眼内レンズ 2を折り畳んだ後、必要に応じて 鑷子 15により眼内レンズ 2を把持して眼内に移植することもできる。
[0034] 図 4〜図 8は、本発明に係る眼内レンズ挿入器具 1の第 2実施例を示すものであり、 図 4は開閉蓋 12を開いた状態を示す図面である。本実施例は、折り畳み部材 8、ノズ ルキャップ 11および保護カバー 16の具体的構造が前記第 1実施例と異なる。したが つて、第 1実施例と共通する部分についての説明は省略し、異なる構造を有する折り 畳み部材 8、ノズルキャップ 11および保護カバー 16について説明する。
[0035] 本実施例による折り畳み部材 8はレンズ設置部 5において回転可能なボス 8aが設け られ、そのボス 8aにはレンズ設置部 5に配置される押圧部 8bと本体 3から外方に伸び る操作部 8cがー体的に設けられている。そして、図 5に示すようにレンズ設置部 5に 眼内レンズ 2をセットする際には、操作部 8cを本体 3より外方に回動させてレンズ設置 部 5に広いスペースを確保してレンズ 2を設置する。この状態においてはボス 8aに設 けられた貫通溝 8eの方向とプランジャー軸 4aの方向が一致することはなぐ誤操作等 によりプランジャー 4が押されたとしてもプランジャー軸 4aの先端部 4bはボス 8aの側面 に突き当たって移動が規制されるため、眼内レンズ 2がプランジャー軸 4aによって押 圧されるのを防止することができる。
[0036] また、本実施例によるノズルキャップ 11は、図 4に示すようにノズル 6の先端部を塞ぐ キャップ部 11aとプレスホルダー l ibがー体的に形成されている。ここで、プレスホルダ 一 l ibは本体 3の外面と前記折り畳み部材 8の操作部 8cとの間に配置され、プレスホ ルダー l ibを取外さない限り操作部 8cの操作ができないよう機能する。
[0037] さらに、図 5に示すように、ノズル 6およびレンズ設置部 5全体を保護するための保 護カバー 16を設けることもできる。保護カバー 16の下面には、 2箇所に突起 16aがー 体的に設けられており、保護カバー 16を本体 3に装着すると、開閉蓋 12に設けられた
穴 12aに前記突起 16aが挿通され、レンズ 2の光学部 2aの外縁近傍に達するようにさ れている。したがって、保護カバー 16を本体 3に装着すると、レンズ設置部 5における レンズ 2の移動を規制することができる。なお、保護カバー 16にもレンズ光学部 2aの 中心に対応する位置にレンズ 2の状態を視認できるよう検査用の穴 16bが設けられて いる。
[0038] 図 6は、図 5の B— B矢視を示す断面図であり、レンズ設置部 5にレンズ 2がセットさ れた状態を示している。レンズ設置部 5にレンズ 2をセットする際には、折り畳み部材 8 の操作部 8cを操作して押圧部 8bを外方位置にすることにより、レンズ設置部 5に光学 部 2aを載置できるスペースが確保される。もちろん、レンズ 2をセットする場合には、保 護カバー 16を取り外し、開閉蓋 12を開く必要がある。セットされた後のレンズ 2は、保 護カバー 16に設けられた突起 16aにより移動が制限される。
[0039] 図 7は、図 5に対応する図面であり、折り畳み部材 8の操作部 8cが本体 3側に操作さ れてレンズ 2が折り畳まれる状態を示している。レンズ 2を折り畳む際には、先ず保護 カバー 16を本体 3から取り外す。そうすると、折り畳み部材 8の操作部 8cの動きを規制 していたプレスホルダー l ibも一緒に取り外され、レンズ 2の折り畳み操作が可能な状 態になる。そこで、折り畳み部材 8の操作部 8cを本体 3側に押すと、折り畳み部材 8は ボス 8aを中心として回動し、押圧部 8bによりレンズ 2の光学部 2aの一端が押圧される。 レンズ 2の光学部 2aの一端が押圧されれば、レンズ 2は本体 3の内壁と押圧部 8bとの 間に挟まれて圧縮されることから折り畳まれることになる。そして、折り畳み部材 8のボ ス 8aが回動すると、そのボス 8aに設けられている貫通溝 8eの方向とプランジャー軸 4a の方向が一致するようにされて 、る。このようにレンズ 2が折り畳まれた後にお ヽては 、プランジャー 4の操作により折り畳まれたレンズ 2の光学部 2aを押圧して移動するこ とができるようになる。したがって、プランジャー 4を使用してレンズ 2を眼内に移植す る場合には、プランジャー 4によりレンズ 2の光学部 2aを押圧して移植することができ る。
[0040] 図 8は、図 7中の C C矢視断面を示すものであり、レンズ 2折り畳み後の状態を示 している。インジェクター 1を使用して眼内レンズ 2を移植する場合には、図 8に示す レンズ 2折り畳み後の状態力 プランジャー 4により光学部 2aの外縁を押圧して移植
する。一方、インジェクター 1を使用せず、鑷子 15によりレンズ 2を把持して眼内にレン ズ 2を移植する場合には、図 8に示す折り畳み後のレンズ 2を、開閉蓋 12を開けること によって鑷子 15により把持して眼内に移植することができる(図 15参照)。
[0041] 図 9〜図 12は、本発明に係る眼内レンズ挿入器具 1の第 3実施例を示すものであり 、図 9は保護カバー 16を取り外した状態を示す図面である。本実施例は前記第 1実 施例や第 2実施例とは折り畳み部材 8および開閉蓋 12の構造が大きく異なるが、その 他の構造については共通している。したがって、第 1実施例や第 2実施例と共通する 部分についての説明は省略し、異なる構造を有する折り畳み部材 8と開閉蓋 12につ いて説明する。
[0042] 本実施例においては 2つの折り畳み部材 8を有し、レンズ 2の光学部 2aを両側から 挟んで折り畳むようになつている。また、 2つの折り畳み部材 8はレンズ設置部 5に対 して軸対称位置に配置され、板パネ 17により連結されている。さらに折り畳み部材 8 の適所には突起 8 設けられ、この突起 8 本体 3に設けられた凹所等に係止できる 構成とされている。力かる構造を有するインジェクター 1において、レンズ設置部 5に レンズ 2をセットする際には板パネ 17を圧縮することなく、折り畳み部材 8を外方に出 した状態にしておく。この状態においては 2つの折り畳み部材 8,8間にレンズ 2を収納 できるスペースが確保される。
[0043] レンズ 2をセット後、図 10に示すように本体 3に保護カバー 16が装着される。このこと によりレンズ 2の位置は固定されるとともに、ロック機構 8g, 16cによって 2つの折り畳み 部材 8,8の動きも規制される。すなわち、保護カバー 16の裏面にはレンズ 2の位置を 固定するための 2箇所の突起 16aと、折り畳み部材 8の動きを固定するための 4箇所 の突起 16cが設けられており、保護カバー 16を本体 3に装着することによりレンズ 2の 動きと折り畳み部材 8の動きをロックすることができるようにされている。具体的には、 保護カバー 16の裏面に設けられた 2箇所の突起 16aは、開閉蓋 12に設けられた 2箇 所の穴 20に挿通され、レンズ 2の光学部 2aの移動を規制する。また、折り畳み部材 8 に設けられたロック穴 8gに保護カバー 16の突起 16cが挿入されることにより折り畳み部 材 8はロックされることになる。
[0044] なお、図 10に示す開閉蓋 12は、本体 3とは別体として構成している力 ヒンジ等によ
り本体 3と一体構造とすることもできる。
[0045] 図 11は図 10の D— D矢視を示す斜視図であり、(a)はプリセット状態を示し、(b)は レンズ折り畳み後の状態を示している。(a)に示すプリセット状態においては、レンズ 2の光学部 2aにストレスを与えることなく載置される。 (b)に示すレンズ折り畳み後の 状態では、レンズ 2の光学部 2aは両側力 押されて断面が略 U字形に折り畳まれて ヽ る。ここで、レンズ設置部 5の上部に装着される開閉蓋 12には、レンズ 2の状態を視認 するための検査穴 19と保護カバー 16の突起 16aが挿通される穴 20が設けられている。
[0046] 図 12は、図 11と同じ部位を示す図面である力 レンズ折り畳み後のレンズ 2の移植 方法を説明するためのものである。具体的には、図 10の D— D矢視を示す斜視図で あり、(a)はプランジャー軸 4aによりレンズ 2を押し出す場合を示し、(b)は鑷子 15によ りレンズ 2を把持する場合を示している。インジェクター 1を使用してレンズ 2を移植す る場合には、(a)に示すように 2つの折り畳み部材 8を両側力も押してレンズ 2を折り 畳んだ後、プランジャー軸 4aによりレンズ 2を押圧して移植する。一方、インジェクター 1を使用せずに鑷子 15によりレンズ 2を把持して移植する場合には、(b)に示すように レンズ折り畳み後に開閉蓋 12を取外し、その後、鑷子 15により折り畳んだレンズ 2を 把持して眼内に移植することができる(図 15参照)。
[0047] 図 13および図 14は、本発明に係る眼内レンズ挿入器具 1の第 4実施例を示すもの であり、開閉蓋 12を取外した状態を示している。本実施例は前記第 3実施例と同様の 構成を有するものであるが、折り畳み部材 8の具体的構造が第 3実施例と異なる。し たがって、第 3実施例と共通する部分についての説明は省略し、第 3実施例と異なる 構造を有する折り畳み部材 8について説明する。
[0048] 本実施例は、レンズ設置部 5に 2つの折り畳み部材 8を設け、前記 2つの折り畳み部 材 8を板パネ 17により連結すると共に、前記折り畳み部材 8に突起 8 設けて本体 3 の適所に係止し、前記板パネ 17の付勢力に抗して前記折り畳み部材 8の位置を保持 可能としたものである。ただし、板パネ 17による連結方法が第 3実施例と異なっている 。 2つの折り畳み部材 8は略八の字状に配置され、その一端を板パネ 17により連結し ている。そして、板パネ 17を中心にして 2つの折り畳み部材 8が所定角度だけ回動で きるようにされている。すなわち、 2つの折り畳み部材 8を外方に開いた状態ではレン
ズ設置部 5において、 2つの折り畳み部材 8は略八の字状に配置され、レンズ光学部 2aを設置できるだけのスペースが確保される。したがって、この状態においてはレン ズ光学部 2aに余分な応力を与えることなくレンズ 2を設置できる。レンズ設置後、開閉 蓋 12を本体 3に装着することによりレンズ 2のセットは完了する。また、開閉蓋 12の裏 面には図示しないが、レンズ 2の位置を固定するための複数の突起と折り畳み部材 8 の動きを固定するための複数の突起が設けられており、開閉蓋 12を本体 3に装着す ることによりレンズ 2の動きと折り畳み部材 8の動きを規制することができるようになって いる。さらに、開閉蓋 12にはプランジャー軸 4aの動きを規制する突き当てを設け、ブラ ンジャー 4の誤操作によってレンズ 2が押圧されな!/、ようにされて!、る。
[0049] 図 15は、インジヱクタ一 1を使用することなぐ鑷子 15によりレンズ 2を把持する様子 を示すものである。レンズ 2が折り畳まれた後においては、レンズ 2の折り曲げ部が折 り畳み部材 8よりも上方に凸となるので、鑷子 15により容易にレンズ 2を把持することが できる。
[0050] 以上、本発明を幾つかの実施例に基づいて説明したが、本発明は上記した実施例 に限定されるものではなぐ種々の変形実施をすることができる。例えば、上記実施 例においては、 2つの折り畳み部材 8を連結する方法として別体の板パネ 17を用いる 場合を示した力 2つの折り畳み部材 8とパネ部材を一体に形成することもできる。
Claims
[1] 折り畳み可能な眼内レンズを眼内に挿入するための眼内レンズ挿入器具であって、 前記眼内レンズを通過させて眼内に導く筒状の本体と、前記眼内レンズを押圧して 眼内に放出するプランジャーを備え、前記本体に設けたレンズ設置部において前記 眼内レンズを折り畳む折り畳み部材を設けるとともに、前記レンズ設置部において前 記眼内レンズを取り出し可能としたことを特徴とする眼内レンズ挿入器具。
[2] 前記眼内レンズを二つ折りに畳むことを可能としたことを特徴とする請求項 1記載の 眼内レンズ挿入器具。
[3] 前記本体と一体または別体の開閉蓋を前記レンズ設置部に設けたことを特徴とする 請求項 1または 2記載の眼内レンズ挿入器具。
[4] 前記開閉蓋がヒンジにより前記本体に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項 3 記載の眼内レンズ挿入器具。
[5] 前記レンズ設置部において折り畳んだ前記眼内レンズを鑷子により把持可能としたこ とを特徴とする請求項 1〜4のいずれ力 1項に記載の眼内レンズ挿入器具。
[6] 前記レンズ設置部に 2つの折り畳み部材を設け、前記 2つの折り畳み部材を板パネ により連結すると共に、前記折り畳み部材に突起を設け、前記板パネの付勢力に抗 して前記折り畳み部材の位置を保持可能としたことを特徴とする請求項 1〜5のいず れカ 1項に記載の眼内レンズ挿入器具。
[7] 前記折り畳み部材にロック機構を設け、前記ロック機構を解除しなければ前記眼内レ ンズを折り畳むことができないようにしたことを特徴とする請求項 1〜5のいずれか 1項 に記載の眼内レンズ挿入器具。
