Abstract

The invention relates to a method and device for transmitting signals from a centralized unit (1) to one or more decentralized units (3), each decentralized unit (3) being allocated to one or more semi-conductor switches (4), each semi-conductor switch (4) comprising at least two switching states. Signals are transmitted from a centralized unit (1) to the decentralized units (3) by means of a radio interface (14) or an optical fiber (2). In the case of the optical fiber (2), the decentralized units (3) are all connected to the optical fiber (2). The centralized unit (1) sends blocks (7) as signals to a decentralized unit, wherein the blocks (7) consist of bits which are sent in a bit rate, and wherein a block (7) is led by a Barker codeword (8). Said codeword is followed by the switching information for at least one semi-conductor switch in a data block (9), the switching information containing switching states and/or switching times.
