Abstract

A device (10) is used for delivering a user's (5) federation network identifier to a service provider (30). The inventive method consists in connecting the user to a first telecommunication network (1) via an access provider to which said user is connected via a second telecommunication network (2). The inventive device comprises means for picking up a first access request (R1) transmitted by the user (5) to the service provider (30) and for extracting from said first request (R1) a first representative identifier (IP_5) of the user's connection to the first network (1), means for obtaining a second representative identifier (ID_ADSL) of the user's connection to the second network (2) by transmitting a request (R4), which comprises the first identifier (IP_5), for obtaining a second identifier to a server (50) of the access provider, means for obtaining a federation (ID_ADSL, 1234) identifier from the second identifier (ID_ADSL) and means for delivering a second access request (R6), which is formed from the first access request (R1) and comprises said federation network (ID_ADSL, 1234) identifier, to the service provider (30).
