Abstract

A bone anchor installer system (1200, 1200') comprising: an installer (1205, 1205'),- the installer comprising: a handle portion (1210, 1210'); and a loader portion (1220, 1220'), said loader portion having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the proximal end is coupled to the handle portion, and wherein the distal end (1225') is configured such that a bone anchor (700, 700') is couplable thereto; and an anchor holder (1230, 1230') removably coupled to the distal end of the loader portion, the anchor holder comprising: a first portion (1231) coupled to a second portion (1232), said first and second portions defining a cavity sized to accept the distal end of the loader portion having a bone anchor coupled thereto; a means (1235, 1235') of uncoupling said first and second portions.
