Abstract

A device (100) is used for generating electrical energy by means of a thermogenerator (3) and a heat source, which can be coupled thereto. Provided as the heat source is a sorption refrigerator (13) with an evaporator (12) and an adsorber (5), the evaporator (12) and/or the adsorber (5) of the sorption refrigerator (13) being in thermal contact with the thermogenerator (3). The thermogenerator is designed for the regeneration of the sorption refrigerator at least for heating purposes and/or the adsorber (5) of the sorption refrigerator (13) is detachably and replaceably connected to the other device. In addition to the sorption refrigerator (13), one or more latent heat stores may be provided as the further heat source for the thermogenerator (3).
