Abstract

The present invention refers to a sprout growth control composition employed in tobacco crops including flumetralin, solvents and surfactants, such composition having a flash point of at least about 62°C as determined by ASTM D 93. The present invention also refers to a control method of the growth of sprouts in tobacco plants involving the application of a composition, as mentioned above, at the post-emerging of the sprouts in such tobacco plants.
